Trump warned last week that if he were indicted on a charge of mishandling classified documents, there would be “problems in this country the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before.” That could be taken as an attempt to incite violence.

I don't think that his warnings about the possibility of "problems" should be read as a threat. Even if that is what he has in mind, many people - Democrats and Republicans - think that indicting a former president and possible future presidential candidate would cause political turmoil (loss of confidence in institutions, etc.).

I think he'll probably be indicted and convicted for mishandling classified documents and obstruction of justice. I don't think he'll be indicted for incitement.

Indicted over the FBI raid of his home? Perhaps. Convicted? Doubtful, and if so it will be overturned on appeal. There is literally no way to prove that he did not declassify whatever he had with him that was previously classified.

Yes, I had mishandling of classified documents+obstruction of justice in connection thereto in mind as the cause of his indictment, but I suppose he could be indicted for any number of ongoing investigations, e. g. Jan 6 or New York tax evasion.

Why do you think conviction is doubtful? His jury would probably be in DC, which is not a city known for being sympathetic to him (DC voted 92% Democratic in 2020). He also can't declassify documents at will. There are restrictions on this going back to Nixon.
