Critical race theory is what the professors always taught. We have to talk about racism and slavery. You have to understand the history of slavery to prevent it. It is mainly right-wingers who feel uncomfortable, triggered by talking about these topics. The guy who created trigger warnings was a rich white guy in IVY league college who said, "I do not like reading about the horrible things that happen to poor people because it triggers me. And he just sat in his room all day and did not do any of his school work" they do not like having uncomfortable conversations about race and discrimination. They burn books and defund public libraries because they get too triggered.

As an adult, you need to be able to handle uncomfortable conversations, but they want to censor them and push their political agenda. They make up cultural Marxist conspiracy theories and say the white man is being oppressed. Just watch how many guys downvote my comment. Just look at how many edgy right-wingers are on here. And then you tell me who is being oppressed or censored.

Because the left in this country wants another civil rights movement, We’ve coke far in toleration and not caring what skin color someone has, but the left won’t let the 1960s and slavery go, so they want everything to be about race,

(there a lot more to say especially about culture Marxism and the United States not having a a lot of issues with people being able to which classes but we have had a race issue so they take the idea of the bourgeoisie and proletariat and instead of the bourgeoisie being in the upper class and the proletariat be in the lower class as you see in critical theory, they take the proletariat and make them non white people and the bourgeoisie being all white people basically leading to the idea that all white people are evil I don’t care what happens to their fellow black citizens. Since we have had the issue with race it’s A lot easier for the cultural Marxist to get a hold of race and use it against your ordinary American citizens that doesn’t believe in systemic racism

Some people truly are affected by racism, and others have actually made a career out of blaming everything on racism, systematic or otherwise.

There's some minority Americans who actually don't want racism to go away, and won't let it because they're racist themselves. You'll notice them because they insert race into every conversation.

I'm not from the US, but I think it's better to discuss the topic and be open about it instead of pretending that racism doesn't exist. That's what happens where I live.

Many things that happen/happened in the US are/were based on race and racism, so it's normal that people talk about it. At least that's what I think.

When people discriminate and/or prejudge people based on race, those being discriminated against or prejudged, or those sympathetic them, have no choice but to view the discrimination/prejudice through an honest lens, and therefore it’s going to be a topic of conversation. The only way to end it is for prejudiced and discriminatory people to clean their act up. Until then, the fight has to remain at the forefront.

America doesn't. Only leftists do. It's part of the "woke" ideology, which sees injustice and racism everywhere and in everything. And if you happen to disagree with them about any of their views on anything, all they have to do is label you a "racist," whether your really are not not, and it's an instant shut-down. Because the “system” keeps us bickering about eachother (race, sex, personal identity politics) so they can maintain the same economic and foreign policies that enrich politicians, giant companies, and the military industrial complex. Disney doesn’t care about black or gay people, Walmart isn’t affected by abortion laws, Monsanto isn’t affected by forever wars in the Middle East. Congress and Lobbyists aren’t affected by social laws. They’re all rich and can do whatever they personally want, while the rest of us get squeezed harder and harder by our failing education, infrastructure, and keeping us divided by social issues

Liberal Nimbyism. An example would be as recent as last week where residents of Martha's Vineyard were always pointing fingers at people calling others racist and having signs on their lawn stating "we are all for Diversity and everyone is welcome" But their hypocrisy was challenged when 46 immigrant were dropped off and they issued a state of emergency to get them out of their backyard. For someone who was in the public school system in Boston I grew up with and still have good friends of multi diverse backgrounds. 1st and foremost Massachusetts gets extra funding for being a sanctuary state and when the Rich (white privilege) millionaires/Billionaires get a small taste of diversity on their 89% white island the 46 migrants were forced out. Long story short is the biggest finger pointer's have the dirtiest hands. Just my own humble opinion

We don't- most of us honestly don't care; it doesn't even cross our minds most of the time. But a legal, and more importantly CULTURAL doctrine of free speech means that every lunatic is free to voice their political opinions at the drop of a hat, and eventually some shysters realize that means there's a market for artificial controversy, so they can make a profit without having to actually WORK.
