What do you think about people who give out money/buy meals to be kind?

Maybe I read too much into it, but I find it as an insult. Are you supposed to think of it as just an act of kindness and leave it at that?

If you don’t want it, just say “ nah, I’m good thanks”. Many people appreciate it.
