Uh. Honestly?
Our vision of it is either those “Pure Michigan” tourism commercials which make it look really nice...
... or it’s the Flint water crisis and the weird Midwestern desolate industrial city of Detroit, where hoodlums break into buildings and steal lampposts for scrap metal, and Robocop patrols the streets...
I think football is big up there? I don’t know, I don’t follow sports really.

  Yeah, I used to think it must be awful to live there. But people keep telling me Northern Michigan is very nice. Detroit is not the only part of it. I cannot vouch for it, but I know some people who really love it there. I don't know about this girl, though. Maybe she likes it too.
