They are called traditions for a reason. They tend to work. We have been pretty lenient in people straying away from them. But there becomes a point where it’s an extreme. So many people are not comfortable with it that it’s widespread throughout the country and actions take place to quell the situation. Like when it starts spreading to peoples children without parents knowing and then being championed by people that kids see in entertainment. It’s destructive to families and people who have different values. Especially when the government basically makes it a crime to have different values and voice your concerns about them. Privately I believe most people don’t care what you do. But publicly there needs to be standards for everyone. Not forcing everyone to change according to a minuscule percentage of the population. Some women want to be mothers and be there for their children. It’s not a bad thing to want that and the idea of that being oppressive is garbage. It should be promoted instead of shut down. Obviously it’s not going to be for everyone and that’s fine but making it sound like it will ruin your life is not good for anyone.

I agree there needs to be social responsibility for public behaviour and culture.
Noones needs to be trying to make people conform to a boring and ridged way of behaving but at least making other be held accountable for what is considered anti social behaviour.
Human beings need rules and boundaries otherwise we take the piss.
Anti social behaviour: noise levels out of social hours, fouling, vandalism, theft, drug selling and taking, gang/pack behaviour.
Generally these are prominent causes for concern anything else is fluff.
They can be useful, but most of the time they are very silly such as when people dont realize that they are social constructs and pretends they are universal laws. Fashion trends for example are utterly absurd to me. Sure, I can understand the idea of focusing on a specific subject and its expression like what often happens in art such as the Cubism movement or whatever, but fashion trends right now are pretty much just a corporate marketing campaign that people buy into because they believe that there is some kind of inherent value in it.
For every example where its arguably useful such as defining animal species, there are equal examples where they are handled in a stupid manner because people just dont get it. Probably the most misused logical tool humanity has ever had.
Before there was greed and possession of things life on Earth was in a better word happy. But in the the so called modern world which we live now if you are not the same as the person next to you then instantly your different this kind of mentality is what is destroying people's lives to the point where if a person is made to feel left out or made to feel insignificant the end result is usually suicide in a world where the majority of society says that they are caring and excepting and understanding of these kind of topics but yet people are still committing suicide because of being made to feel different because they are not the same as the person next to them.

I don’t listen to 💩💩💩.
I know that mass media and mainstream media is BRAINWASHING, and CONTROL.
Trump told us over and over. Until the Snowflakes banned him. He came out here to spill the tea. And the Godforsaken lemmings took him out alongside a demonic government.
Anything MAINSTREAM and POPPING is Fake!!!
I do me! I believe in a creator. I believe the world Is level and non-moving. I don’t drink anything with Flouride. I subscribe to all the conspiracy channels. I get whatever tattoos that I design. I take care of myself. And most importantly. I STAY AWAKE 🤷🏻♀️
I think they're dumb outright. It's fine to market a product to one gender, but don't do it by excluding the other. That's just bad business. It's fine to promote certain attributes in a gender, but not by putting other attributes down. That's not a compliment it's just an indirect insult. And it's fine to acknowledge general truths about sex and whatnot, but not by denying outliers. That's bad science. Facts about humans are based on on humans, not the other way around.
These standards are outdated and terrible.
1. A ton of double standards exist which increase unfairness
2. It is easy to be fake in these societies to gain attention, money, social status, etc..
3. A lot of these standards lead to harmful stereotypes to knock over the head of those that don't conform.
I'm against those. Very much so.
It's actually courageous to stand up for yourself and not getting dictated that you should do this or be that just because of your gender. Those are some sickening ideas if you ask me.
Go make big money as a woman if you like. Or dye your hair as a man. If that's your thing.
We have been told that the traditional roles are opressive because it forces women to be homemakers but that isn't true, we don't live in that world, women have more options than they have ever had but beyond that, men tend to be supportive of the women they love regardless of what their choices are and will try to make it work.
I think it’s weird that we’ve created all those silly constructs. We live on a floating rock, I really don’t care how men or women choose to present themselves. People that get offended over that stuff are strange. If a man in a dress is enough to make someone angry then they must be a real sensitive snowflake in my opinion.
They are what makes society function Well. If you try to take them away or fight them it won't take long until your society is nothing more then a burned pile of ashes.
I’m generally not a fan, but I understand the value of some things like that.
I think a person should dress according to their choice of career. Your clothing should be modest.
I'm not opposed to them, I think it's natural for a highly social species like us to develop them. That being said, I think many blindly follow them too much. People should err on the side of free thinking, rather than compliance.
For better or worse they exist and they're not going away anytime soon. Don't want to follow gender roles fine. But expect to pay the price when you don't.
It's hypocritical to criticise people who believe in religion but follow social constructs like it's one.
Dress modestly. Some traditions, like piracy, ain’t very decent. I would rob a ship and steal all its booty, but that’s tradition.
I don't really care what people do, I guess
they are the primary method we use to prevent violence. by keeping people the same
I disregard it entirely
I ignore them
Just bullshit
