At this point, I think it's mostly going to be "Trump". I only regret that he's not enough of a troll to completely undercut their efforts by announcing that he's not going to be running in 2024 (wow, THERE'S a sentence I never thought I'd see).

Of course, they won't admit that; they'll couch it behind the usual panoply of misapplied issues, but the core message of "Vote for us, because the world will end if you vote for the other guys" will be the same for them as it is for the Republicans.

You had inflation and gas prices. Even though those would have occurred coming out of the 18 month pandemic lockdowns regardless of who was president including Trump, you were pinning them on Biden and that was working for you but you got greedy and went for the abortion bans even though the majority of voters favor a women's right to have safe access to them. You didn't read the room and you gave us what we needed to change the topic and focus on women's rights.

And the irony is, even with the long list you mentioned of the "issues" you're running on, all you can do is point to them and say "bad". You have utterly no proposals or ideas for how to make any of them better. Just blame and fear. Nothing constructive, no ideas on how to improve things.
Obamacare is bad and Trump's going to release a plan that is so much better and so much cheaper in two weeks. How's that plan coming along, cause I'm pretty sure it's been two weeks since he said that. Trump knew how to destroy Obamacare but he had no fucking idea how to replace it with anything that even with Obamacare's flaws, worked even remotely as well. People see that and remember that. The only proposal you guys ever have is "more guns". Guns for teachers, guns for flight attendants, guns for supermarket check out clerks, guns for kids, Just arm everyone. How's that good guy with a gun thing working so far? Even if one is there, there are 5 dead before he even gets off a shot.
