Anonymous(30-35)+1 yThe ones where people focus on being good human beings. To others, themselves and to the planet.
I don't reside with any particular issue because there are so many have policies that seem OK, but then their methods/conduct aren't so great.
Some may say I'm focusing on the negatives here, but I would like to join a group without hesitancy.
Example: you talk about climate issues, yet you sit on a motorway, invariably endangering your life, the drivers abd the environment by having these cars sitting with their engines running...
And fire pink smoke flares!
Example: we talk about race but then we destroy property and often verbally bash another racial group, which creates divide.
Example: we talk about safety for women yet we go from dressing in a normal way (I'm not talking polo (turtle) neck with long sleeves and long skirt, I mean variety, clothes that express your style, to basically walking around like strippers and sex on legs.
That doesn't validate anyone to be attacked but it does make me wonder why it's gone so far the other way. Especially when women within that group think it's essential to liberate the mind of a woman who dresses how she feels comfortable with doesn't consist of public flashing.
Example: mental health awareness is a big topic especially with sucicide being right at the top. Instead of people being kind, they now think they are mental health professionals. And spend their time playing dumb games to exasperate the persons symptoms, in an attempt to out them.
I'm not entirely sure that this world can actually handle as many issues as we are currently voicing. Even writing this has left me feeling really depleted, and I know that I won't reply to anyone that responds because I've lost the fight.
I live my life trying to be good, not bothering anyone. I recycle, I upcycle, I patch, and dye clothes with things like beetroot (so organically) food is hardly wasted and I rarely buy in excess.
When it comes to people I always try to be supportive and my agenda is only ever to be a good person.
I spend a lot of time indoors because out there, it's crazy.
We do know how to be good people, just so many choose not to be.10 Reply

5.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Universal health care hands down. I personally have it as an Alaskan native from the native corporation called doyon. Doyon has 12.5 million acres of land and makes profits to enrich shareholders lifes.
To be honest it is a drop in the bucket of issues that alaskan natives has, but that is a defining principal that has kept alaskan natives alive long enough to address harder issues now, and into the future.
We can take that same logic for the rest of larger USA. If all of America pushes basic human standards we all can achieve greater success. A kid has cancer and gets treatment could become a doctor that cures cancer. Universal Healthcare for yourself and your neighbors is the greatest investment possible. Better then any war.
Just to be clear. Alaskan native corporations are not amarican native reservations. Alaska was the 49th state and alaskan natives had seen how well native reservations was treated. So they went corporations and had top billing of land grabs for profit to give back to alaskan natives.00 Reply

@Tyrael who says left wing democrats can’t be racist? They just hide it under a lot of idealistic words. You know that the American slave owners used to be democrat as well? They said that slavery was good for blacks because it gave them structure to their lives. Left wing democrats can be even more racist than anyone. Just look at Biden for example
- +1 y
Spoken like a true conservative christian that is afraid and threatened by equality among genders and other races and of change and progression and afraid that people believe in anything other than what they believe to be their god and what he tells you to believe. Also making a statement that is nearly 300 years old just proves you have no better argument against left wingers.
All of what you said is exactly what's wrong with conservative America and Republicans. I can sense the fear of change coming from this post. - +1 y
@Tyrael a good example I think is this interview. Stephen Colbert is an Irish Catholic American from South Carolina. He’s on paper a blue democrat but deep down still harbors racism and prejudice against non-whites basically Joe Biden in a nutshell. In this interview he’s supposed to interview Jimmy o Yang but you can tell from his body language he’s just not impressed by Jimmy and unsure why he deserves an interview. Even though Jimmy lands a lot of great jokes Stephen doesn’t respond to them and only laughs when he insinuates that all Asians look the same. This to me is a great example of the covert racism of the blue democrat left. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=H9_pg-gTOR8
- +1 y
@Neosporin There's no doubt that was an awkward interview but you make a lot of assumptions about why it is so. Stephen generally interviews well with people who he knows personally or has worked with before. I don't get any racism vibes at all from this, only that they both don't get each others style of comedy.
- +1 y
@Tyrael Oh wow you actually watched it! Well maybe you're right that I'm assuming too much about it. but as an Asian growing up in a democrat state (Washington) I feel extra sensitive democrats/leftists because of my own personal experiences growing up around them. Not to say that I had a bad childhood or something but just not good experiences with democrats and their way of thinking personally.

How about the 14th amendment?
And the fact that the 14th amendment has taken away our rights and replaced them with PRIVILEGES... what does this matter?
Well:
(1) rights = cannot be taken away
(2) PRIVILEGES = can be and have been revoked or taken away
(1) Before the signing of the 14th amendment we were referred to as "people
or person"
(2) After the signing of the 14th amendment we are now referred to as "CITIZENS"
(a) a person is = sovereign meaning they are their own king or queen or boss if you will
(b) CITIZEN means = EMPLOYEE OF THE GOVERNMENT (in Latin)
Before the signing of the 14th amendment we were given rights by our creator and the state in which we were born in
After the signing of the 14th amendment we were granted PRIVILEGES by the federal government00 Reply
+1 yEconomic issues. I really don't focus on anything else at this point. I like being able to prove my beliefs through factual sound data rather than just an anecdotal opinion of how things should be. I used to address some societal and cultural issues such as transgenderism and progressive ideology such as hookup culture since I have data to back it. I'll every now and then touch on law enforcement since I've been in law enforcement, and I again have data to back it. I think that the Republican thesis isn't 100% effective in every situation our country faces, just as the Democratic thesis isn't 100% effective in every situation our country faces. That type of binary thinking only divides. I try to think on my own, and disregard the tribalism.

- +1 y
@SneakiBreeki
What? Of course both sides don't like each other but do you call a Jew bad for hating a Nazi just as much?
Liberals aren't perfect but Conservatives in this country want a system of government that would effectively destroy America. When they can make the state of Kentucky in the top 10 economies in the country then we can talk about them being not so bad. - +1 y
@Hypnos0929
"but do you call a Jew bad for hating a Nazi just as much?"
Ah yes, liberals are the victims while the Right is the Agressor. The left is canceling people for having different opinions, ending people's careers, chasing people down wearing all black with masks (Antifa), burning down businesses and properties but you still use the Jew analogy to describe the left like they are victims?
"Republicans are seriously becoming the enemies of freedom of information"
The irony, it's the left getting outraged at everything. Demanding famous people to apologize for shit they said 10+ years ago, and if not their careers get rekt. Even Donald Trump, as much as I disliked the guy they removed him from every social media just for having his own opinion, if the right was the enemy of the "freedom of information" do you really think Trump would be banned on every single platform?
- +1 y
@YesICan imagine being so misinformed you don’t even realize trump was taken off of social media for encouraging a bunch of his supporters to storm the capital to “save america from joe Biden”
The irony was that a bunch of fat right fascist neo nazis showed up to storm the capital along with the clueless trump supporters.
All of them shouting utter nothings as the majority of time people riot and storm it’s to fight for stuff that’ll benefit everyone.. but Trump supporters just stormed the capital to try and put an already wealthy corporate bailout that could care less about them?
I mean, Donald trump himself even threw his own supporters under the bus and told them to go home once he realized the capital riot wasn’t going to benefit him 🤷🏽♀️ - +1 y
@YesICan
It's not a different opinion to believe black people should be treated like criminals. It's not a different opinion to believe that women who are raped should be forced to have the child of the rapist. It's not a different opinion to believe the government should force businesses to allow you into their establishment without a mask.
Stop playing the victim when businesses have told their workers it's better to call the police than confront an anti masker because they risk getting assaulted.
On top of that Trump got kicked off Twitter for continously lying and attempting to get his followers to commit crimes on his behalf. Not because people disagreed with him on policymaking issues. Freedom of information does not mean no one is going to fact check you or point out you're a liar. - +1 y
"Stop playing the victim"
You legit compared liberals to Jews while calling right wing people Nazi's with your analogy, but I'm playing the victim card for just calling out that the left is terrorizing people just for having a different opinion? You really are a hypocrite, and you're showing how tolerant you are if someone doesn't share the same opinion as you or has some critique.
"It's not a different opinion to believe that women who are raped should be forced to have the child of the rapist."
Fact 1. As of September 1, 2021, abortion is prohibited in Texas once a fetal heartbeat can be detected, which may be as early as 6 weeks into a woman's pregnancy, due to the Texas Heartbeat Act enacted by the Republican-controlled 87th Texas Legislature during its regular session.
Fact 2. It takes about 2 to 3 weeks after sex for pregnancy to happen. Some people notice pregnancy symptoms as early as a week after pregnancy begins.
- No one is forced to give birth to any child, as long as the abortion is commited before 6 weeks. The laws in Texas are the most strict ones, but saying that someone is "FORCED" to do something is complete nonsense. It also shows that you didn't do research on this topic, but yet you are quick to talk about it with 0 facts.
- +1 y
"It's not a different opinion to believe black people should be treated like criminals."
Where does this come from? Why are you pulling out dumb arguments like this? You are really convinced that all the civilians who got either canceled by cancel culture or beaten up by antifa members are racists that hate black people? Do you not realize how narrow minded you are right now? People are getting canceled for just having a different opinion.
"businesses have told their workers it's better to call the police than confront an anti masker because they risk getting assaulted."
Why making this point, is that supposed to be an excuse for damaging people's business and properties?
"Trump got kicked off Twitter for continously lying and attempting to get his followers to commit crimes on his behalf. Not because people disagreed with him on policymaking issues."
Trump got banned on all platforms, not because of "attempting to get his followers to commit crimes" but because they don't agree with the dumb shit he had to say. His ban showed how big tech companies (which most of them are democrat/liberal) are ready to remove someone just cause they disagree with someone. And the liberals on SM who celebrated it showed how much they "care" about free speech.
So far you made 0 valid arguments, you also failed to dissect my arguments properly. It almost seems as if you just wrote stuff you heard in the media instead of doing your own research.

@Pummel That fact merely showcases the weakness of humanity, not the naivety of my ideals. It is human nature to pursue one's self-interests, even at the expense of others. However, that is only acceptable in a state of nature. By creating society, individuals have entered a contract with each other to keep their nature in check in order to acquire new freedoms, as well as safety from exploitation. Society (the social contract) fails when it permits humans to return to their natural state, or helps the advantaged expand and protect their advantages at the expense of other members of society.
In any case, I think that how realistic an idea/issue is (or isn't) does not serve as a prerequisite to caring about it.
