Why don’t you ever hear about the mayor of El Paso, TX who is a democrat bussing illegals to NYC?

The fact is the mayor of El Paso has bussed over 11,000 illegals to NYC and Texas governor Abbott has bussed fewer than 4,000 to NYC yet all you hear is how bad the Republican governor is. Why is that?

Maybe because Abbott still hasn't addressed the power grid that failed a few years back killing a bunch of Texans? Maybe because of his draconian abortion law that turns Texans into bounty hunters and forces rape victims, no matter their age, to have that baby? Let's turn our neighbors into snitches, right?
Maybe because of the stupid stunts he pulls trying to make himself look good like playing "hot potato" with human beings, and letting BIllions worth of produce rot in trucks on the other side of the border in the name of security? Wow, he rejected the medicare expansion that would have helped Texans with healthcare and would have been funded at 90% by the federal government? Abbott would also be higher profile as a governor as opposed to a mayor.

To be clear though, whether it's this party or that I don't agree with sending busloads of people to places that have not been contacted so that preparations can be made.
Honestly though I've been in Texas for the better part of 60 years. There has always been a lot of fuss about the border. Is it worse now? Yes. If you're Abbott though how can you run for governor in a border state with the history that Texas has and not have a plan better than throw a tantrum and ship 'em elsewhere? You afraid to work with the other governors and come up with a better way to do this than just blind dump human beings on unprepared communities?
The answer is Abbott wants to get name recognition any way that he can because he has higher ambitions. I'd love to see him gone, but doubt it will happen.
