Is our strategic reserve almost empty?

My uncle works for the government and one of his jobs is checking on the strategic oil reserves we have on hand in case putin invades or some other emergency arise. Thus the name "strategic reserves"

My uncle says that after Trump built up the reserves, everyone was happy and felt safe, but now that Biden has pumped so much of it into the market to keep prices relatively low until after the midterms, the reserves are close to empty.

My uncle says that probably the dumbest thing Biden did was when he sold off from the strategic reserves and sent a lot of it to foreign countries so the leaders would buy Hunter's paintings (Crack is expensive after all)

I’m hearing the same thing. We could be in a world of hurt. Sadly, this is one of Biden’s lesser things he has done that’s either dumb or treasonous. Americans are going to have to quickly regain the spirit of 1776 enough so to remove the government we have now by legal means if necessary and install those who will honor their oath to preserve the constitution. Americans are going to quickly have to learn how to survive again too. Being resourceful and learning that food, fuel, and every other commodity necessary to sustain life doesn’t come from the grocery store, gas station, or Amazon! What happens if natural gas and propane are no longer available? People might have to learn to burn wood in a stove to keep warm and cook. But our society has been so conditioned with lies to think that wood-burning will harm the environment. Sorry, but if I’m freezing to death and starving, I could care less about the EPA in the moment.

It's pretty stunning that anyone even questions whether Trump was better at this point. But, even on this website, we have idiots who honestly believe that Biden's government has sold more oil leases than Trump's did.

So fun fact: the Democrats actually blocked Trump from fully replenishing the strategic reserves, so they weren't even full when Biden started emptying it.

The move is obviously an attempt to stave off skyrocketing prices just long enough to get past the upcoming elections. Once that passes, the cost of gas will jump about $0.50/gal overnight, and continue to rise from there. If the administration ever decides to stop screwing the country for their own gains and globalist interests, then refilling the reserves will increase the price even more until they're full. Personally, I don't think they have any interest in long term solutions other than forcing the majority of the population to drive less and/or get rid of cars, which is much more about controlling people than controlling prices.

Biden has done just about everything that he promised to do while campaigning. One exception. He hasn't cured cancer yet!

He said that he was going to get rid of petroleum and he is working very hard to do so. When gas burning vehicles don't have any gas to burn. Then we will need to go to something else. But he hasn't come up with a reliable source yet.

So. According to his spokes person. The reserves are half full and Not half empty. Not to worry. Cause if we have an emergency, he will have enough fuel to fly Air Force one out of harms way.

It is just a crime. That it will take decades to undo what has happened in just two short years! Plus he should be kissing Trumps feet for filling the reserves, so that he could use it as a political stunt!

I’ve heard the same thing too. It’s his futile attempt to bring gas prices down right before the mid terms. This is gonna really hurt us if we dragged into any kind of conflict and it’s going to take years to build it back up. It was never intended for these purposes. If the idiot would open up more federal lands and offshore permits we could lower the price that way. Unfortunately the environmentalists rule him and think that windmills can power a nation.

The strategic oil reserved are not empty. That is stored oil and that will be replenished from our oil fields. He is right though that Biden giving away our oil was one of the dumbest moves yet...
