Personally, I reckon women have it harder physically, but men have it harder socially and mentally. If I had to pick one overall, I'd say both have it just as hard and easy. This is just what I think and I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks!
Objectively, men. Literally the only negative thing women ever have to deal with, are periods and the rare creepy guy. But you'd be damned if you can find one woman who doesn't make the f*cking Everest out of any tiny molehill she finds. "A guy said hi to me on the street! OMG, I'm sooooo oppressed! Being a woman is hard!"
Man I WISH I had a life as easy as a first world white woman. Men over here committing suicide and dying as virgins, and women over here complaining about compliments and simpery from mildly unattractive men. No wonder so many transmen can't make it past the first year!
I can be a woman and literally just marry a rich successful guy if I just go to the gym every day and wear makeup OR make my own money as a successful doctor or scientist OR just falsely accuse a man of something he didn't do and lie my way to top OR just sleep my way to the top and even become US Vice President for it! And yet, still complain about how "hard" it is in society just because men don't literally bow down to them everywhere they go. Give a woman literally the world and she'll ask for the rest of the solar system with it and then call you a "sexist incel" for not giving it to her.
Red talk over.

Men are opposed by societal elite and those trying to destroy the Family. Women are participating and in turn self-destructing trying to be men... Hopefully, one day it will settle down and family will again be a priority OR whole Nation crashes by 2045.
Women have it easier in that they don't have sex drives that they can't turn off. As long as women don't care about societal pressures to find someone to be in a relationship with, then in that case they have it easier. Physically, yes, women are weaker, and this ties in to their financial disadvantage as well. While women still make less per dollar, women's products cost more than men's, and they also have to pay extra for transportation at night when men can just walk home. You could argue that women get some of this money back from paid meals on dates, but it's not like they get paid meals every day after work that they need to take cabs home. And getting men to understand housework is still a battle. Maybe there would be less divorces if the guy's continued to anticipate their women's needs like they did at the start.
Based on the answer to your own question, they both have it hard, just in different ways.
And I'd agree with that. Just as any person has it hard, in their own way, based on their own circumstances.
Not a fan of "woe is me" competitions that people have. To me, it's like, I have my problems I'm going to solve them based on what my life is; you have your problems, you're going to solve them based on what your life is. But it isn't a competition.

Women, simply because the women who have it easy have the easiest time, therefore the women who have it harder probably have the hardest time as well.
As a general statement though I would say men. Because nobody gives a shit about men, including the majority of men.Definitely girls have it harder
I always thought women had it harder because of all the misogyny nowadays.

It’s really too broad a question to answer easily.
