Why are people with certain names always assholes?

I find that people named Jessica, Regina, or Hannah in real life, in books, comics, and movies are always assholes. Is it a coincidence those names are connected to bitchy personalities? Is there a linguistic reason why those names sound asshole?

I’ll go back in high school. Because that’s when this all name issue starts lol
*Let’s start with Ashley. I have a story back in high school with this name. Basically I witness this girl stealing classmates. And she was very Ashley looking and acting I don't know how to explain it 😂 she gave me the creeps. Thanks to her I learned not to trust people easily.

*My close friend name was Britney she was very Britney acting lol so cute and nice and kind. This name gives me a good vibe.
*Another girl name is Devonne. She was very masculine. She would never hear a person talk til end. She had to be the one heard. She was nice but awkward. She thought nobody could track her thoughts. But her thoughts were read so easily lol.
Yeah so when I hear Devonne name I get this feelings.


Jessica name for me reminds me a kitty attitude. More like don’t annoy me otherwise I’ll? Not talk to you for a week lol

I have a sweet cousin named Regina who's far from being an asshole.

My friend has a daughter named Hannah who's also far from being am asshole.

I don't know the Jessicas I personally met well enough to say whether any of them are assholes or not.

While not a full answer the simple explanation is that we have expectations. Names also come with expectations. And so because society will project these on us people named one thing or the other is more likely to turn out a certain way. The expectations attached to a name help shape our personalities.

I can for example fully agree with near every Jessica being a bit problematic.

Beyond that there is also some more obscure notions such as a name's phonetics affecting our sense of self. There's not a lot of research on the matter though. Mostly because naming a few thousand people and having them grow up in controlled environments is somehow both unethical and too costly.
