Do people enter in wars because they crave conflict?

think about it, even when there are no wars we still find conflict. are we just drawn to it and we're doomed to always fight each other?

Yes. Because of the fundamentally competitive nature of life.

Although we interpret it as chaos, I believe it happens because it aids reality. Similar to how the conflict on the lower levels (micro-organisms) helps to create & sustain or more complex life forms (us). Our conflict could help usher in a new creation/possibility for the universe to explore/embody.

Things with fundamental differences are essential if a thing with a new nature is to be created. And since we have biological goals, there are many complexities that are innately harmful to us. So we interpret things emotionally which opens the possibility for negative feelings.

But objectively, nothing has emotional significance. And all that it happening is complex interactions that can be interpreted any way imaginable if an entity is programmed to do so.

There are people that make money from wars. If it was an international law that the leader and whatever country they’re beefing with had to fight to death in the place of actual war, I guarantee there would be less “wars” and people would be more willing to talk things out
