I hate to say it again but Brian Kemp isn't a particularly good Republican what he had already done as Secretary of state weakening Georgia's election laws went a long way into putting the country and Georgia in the position it is in now.

His advertisement while a good campaign commercial belies his actual record at that point in management.

To answer your question thou Republicans are a big political collection of large numbers of people and among its biggest constituencies is are small goverment conservatives and Gun owners.
Theses constitutions are together because of the reality of distant, ineffective, and/or simply untrustworthy goverment.

The reason there is an ocean of Red outside of every city is low population densities also mean the public security guard known as a police or simply sheriff is realistically 30 minutes to an hour away when seconds count.
If you don't have a gun to protect yourself your just going to have to let what ever happens happen, and hope they let you live.

So try to understand where theses people are coming from, why the nation or state wide rules your trying to impose are soo harmful when imposed upon them and their way of life.

What we do know is as a direct result of the votes counted a significant amount of money was transferred from the people of Georgia to bankroll the financial irresponsibility other States.

Was that in the interest of the people of Georgia to have their hard earned frugal savings taken away to pay down the dept of other people who has instead choose to live large and save little in other States?

Even if you believe every vote in Georgia's election was cast by a Georgia Citizen, it was obviously not cast to represent their interest.

That add was from the last race he won. It was a ridiculously stupid ad, but he won that race. However, he cheated. As Secretary of State, he intentionally let thousands of absentee ballot requests from inner city Atlanta residents sit unanswered until they passed the deadline. He denied any foul play, but it was obvious. He eventually won by roughly 25,000 votes, or 1.4%.

I live in Georgia, so I can tell you that Kemp has done two good things in 4 years, in my opinion. One, he rolled back gas taxes once the pandemic started, and two, he told Trump to go fuck himself when Trump wanted him to "find" enough votes to reverse the state. Other than that, he's just another good 'ole boy entrenched in typical bullshit. He'll always be a cheater in my eyes.

A Black former Atlanta City Councilman just threw his support to Governor Kemp as he is looking out for Georgia’s best interests. So that says a lot. His name is Kwanza Hall. Kemp seems to have been a good governor from what I see.
