Where did the idea that Jews have all the power and they run the world come from?

I’ve been hearing this nonsense for a while but I can’t seem to find out where it originated

The new testament of the Bible forbids moneylenders but the Jewish religion only acknowledges the old testament. So, in the 1700s (or something like that) Jewish people were the only moneylenders and quickly became rich and hated. The practice of predatory lending really irritates people. But also some people just plain don't want to pay their debts and were happy to loudly blame the entire Jewish race instead of fork over the few pennies they owed.

And overall it's hard to really pin down what is the moral high ground when it comes to moneylending. If you're charging so much interest that you can become rich, that seems like it might be a little unfair. But if you're fair then you'll get more people taking out your loans resulting in you becoming rich whether you intend to or not. And once someone becomes rich for doing nothing they tend to want to stay that way, happy to use their reputation for being fair to slide into unfairness. The point is there is a lot of moral gray area in moneylending and so people who thrive on proclaiming themselves a victim have an easy path to claimng some of that gray area is their moral high ground. And the sort of people who like to proclaim themselves a victim are highly correlated to the sort of people who are prone to believing in sweeping global conspiracies. And they are loud people.

But, to quote myself, any conspiracy theory that ends in someone getting money isn't a conspiracy theory but a business model. Or more precisely in haiku form:

I guess because despite being 1% of the population they are disproportionately represented at the highest levels of wealth and power. That's in Washington DC, Wallstreet, the banking system, Hollywood, the news media, sports management, the music industry, fashion. They make up a huge majority of white admissions to Ivy League colleges.

It probably ordinated in 19th century Europe in countries like Russia where certain restrictions were put into place by only allowing a certain number of Jews to go to college or in post WW1 Europe where Jews were blamed for Russia turning communist and by the nazis who blamed the Jewish Weimar politicians a lot of whom were Jewish for stabbing the German army in the back by surrendering when Germany was still in France and later for the failures of the German banking system and hyper inflation. Most of the porn industry too is run by Jewish producers. Recently when a pornhub employee was asked why the majority of pornhub porn features incest they cited the question as antisemitic. Then there's guys like Epstein and Weinstein who were so powerful theyvwere able to get away with crimes against young Christian white women. Jewish director Roman Polanski drugged and plied a 13 year old, took naked pictures of her and raped her and was able to avoid prosecution and is still powerful enough to get the support of Hollywood elites like Merly Streep and over 100 Hollywood elites publicly signed a letter of support.

All lot of right wing white Supremacist and the black lives matter groups have this view.

Sometimes for fun I come across some particularly outrageously politically biased narrative that is being advertised in magazines and online newspapers...

then I look up who owns the company... and find out they are owned by a multimedia conglomerate that is a subsidiary for...

... another multimedia conglomerate that is ran by...

Ehh, could say since Christianity became popular and the myth that Jews killed Jesus.
Could be the myth that every religion but Judaism was opposed to lending money, thus enriching Jews.
But most of todays antisemitism comes from the fraudulent and dumb Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It was made up by anti commie Russians trying to link communism and Judaism. And it worked.
The document talks about creating the one world govt or whatever. It’s all BS. But that’s what inspires them now, directly or indirectly.

When people are suffering economically, it is not hard for a demagogue to focus their anger on some minority group. Jews are an easy target and they are over-represented in professions like law, medicine, and business management.
