My take:

The video is of course speculation however many of the facts there in are real.
The short answer is We in the west will likely be fine with higher prices. Africa and Asia may not be so lucky.

This is due to a combination of bad political choices and frankly a some bad wealthier. Neither of which alone would have been a problem however together they will push food prices higher still.

I don't see how they couldn't. I've been carefully tracking WHAT foods, specifically, have risen in cost, and what's produced locally, both here in Florida and back in Chicago, and I strongly suggest you do the same with what's made where you live; the results are emphatically NOT in line with the narrative of "it's all just bad weather and 'supply chain disruptions'". Of course, that's not to say those things aren't happening, or contributing, but it's been growing increasingly hard to believe that there aren't some seriously sinister things going on.

the political choices made were not "bad" if you consider "who" made them and "for whom". obviously these decisions were not good for the overwhelming majority of the population. but we don't live in a democacy xD we live in a western globalized oligarchy that in the USA has 2 right wing parties who both represent the oligarchs but are elected by the people just to slap the label "democracy" on it.

and if you consider what was said about "the great reset" wich basically made the "new world order" conspiracy theory come true, then you know that the global western economies are currently being crashed in order to "build back better"... "better" again for these few oligarchs of course. not for "the people".
