Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yInvite God into your life and understand the abundance in His Kingdom and it will change everything. You need to remove consent of Satan over your finances and bring God into it instead. Look at the name of the Bank Santander... what does it spell when you re-arrange the letters...
You need to understand that those creating the false cost of living situation want you to hold on to your money much tighter. They want you to absorb all of the bad news... but there is a power in what we listen to and what we say. Faith cometh by hearing... what do you think happens when all you hear is the news?
Now let me give you an example. There are two ladies who live alone in the same area and with similar size of home. One lady has embraced the Kingdom Of God and the other just embraces the news. Guess which one is paying a bill that is 3x higher..
Guess which one was contacted by the Bank and told about an account they didn't know they had? Guess which one has people giving them free points while in the Supermarket queue... guess which one has workmen offering to do extra for free... and the list goes on. But guess which one is generous...

The current situation just became an excuse for some companies to proce gouge consumers. Here our Canadian government does nothing to help and in fact just raises the cost due to their hair brained ideas and contributed greatly to inflation by their exorbitant spending.
We need a businessman to run this country instead of Mr. Dressup and his gang of puppets.21 Reply
+1 yI feel sad and fear for the future.
Not because of me - I'm financially stable and could handle more inflation before I start to struggle but because how many others are affected by it, here those that struggled BEFORE inflation get hit the hardest. This includes families with children.

00 Replywell my shopping bill has almost doubled, the restaurants around me have gone up about 30% my gas and electricity have gone up about 30% as well since Covid. Since last summer we’re supposedly having a water shortage crisis in the area so they’ve doubled my water bill 😂 It doesn’t really bother me that much but what does bother me is clients are more reluctant to go ahead with work since after Covid and that’s put a bigger hole in my pocket than the rest of it. 😅 Government grants are coming back though so if government pays for most of a job people seem to accept quotes a lot easier, shocker 😂 oh and my go to wine got bought up by Bernard Arnaud and first thing he did was charge 40% more a bottle.

+1 yIt’s not an issue right now because we have garden plants as well as friends and neighbours that donate their garden foods to us too. In the winter, we might have to spend more on groceries since only our kale is edible when the weather is cold, I have a Siberian Russian breed that lasts through two Canadian winters and seeds were under $8.00 on Amazon and produce enough for 40 servings of vegetables.

+1 yLuckily my wife and I have both had raises that beat the rate of inflation, but the grocery bills are still painful to see. I feel bad for people on fixed incomes who are seeing their cost of living surpass their income. Luckily inflation seems to be starting to slow down.

+1 yIt sucks and spinning out of control. I realize things were more expensive to make during COVID, but things should have dropped back to normal levels.
It's price gouging across the board. Love how people think raising wages is the key. The only ones doing well off that is the government. We pay more for product (including more sales sales tax) and they get they get a nice little increase in income tax to boot.

The West has been spoiled for too long and looked down on China, Russia and others in the region. It tried to hustle them, and it cannot get away with such shit like it could in the Middle East.

Thank god I don't have kids. Happy that I can afford it.
Actually scratch that. I can't afford most of it, but I'm okay with the bare minimum.
I just wanna live a peaceful life without having to worry about such things. I think I'd run away some day.
The problem is where... Humans have successfully polluted every corner of the world.

+1 yIf you want to see some real inflations and high prices compared to incomes, just visit my country to see how come a society lives on incomes betwen 100 and 500 dollars while it takes an income of 1000 to 2000$ to have a stable life, sh*tty politicians and wrong government decisions plus robbing the whole country by corrupt leaders will make the population suffers and dies slowly...

+1 yIt sucks, I hope it goes back down eventually but things never seem to go back down, always up, I don’t know how families can afford to live and eat now, luckily my kids are grown and have a good job, I just have to buy for myself now only, people might have to start growing their own food somehow

I think it's a postponed covid consequences. A lot of global economy supply chains disrupted, businesses collapsed, new businesses emerged, and the inertia moment can tend for years so everything can go back on the rails.
