Should the US government sell some restricted Federal lands to lower the national debt? To citizens American owned, American owned companies and farmers. No foreign nations?

First of all, that would not even make a dent. Secondly, much of federal lands has a very good reason for being federally owned such as protecting it.

If your goal is to lower the national debt then it is a complete waste of time.

No, that would be a disaster for the environment. National debt wouldn't be so high if we didn't have a bloated military budget designed to line the pockets of defense contractors and the military industrial complex.

Rich folk have their own desires and know the loopholes. Once ground is broken the natural land is F-ed. (excuse my french) We had something similar here (not federal kind you). One man owned all the land and promised to keep it natural. He died. The grandkids had different plans… even if left in trust. They set wildfires and bulldozed land and built foundations to homes before the will went to court, held it up further with various tricks. They actually won due to this behavior.
