No, personally, I do not consider it as "unethical" because I'm non vegetarian and eat meat (I do not eat pork and beef because they contain high amounts of saturated fat and the butchers also do not clean these properly).

I'm not religious either (my family follows Hinduism though; but I do not), so unless if you are an orthodox Hindu or vegan/vegetarian, it is not unethical.

Morality is complex. What might be "unacceptable" to some may be acceptable to others and vice versa. You need to stop caring about what others think and do what is best for you. Develop your own morals.

Probably, if you dont have to eat an animal, than don't if you dont want to. Some people will not care and eat it anyways.

I don't think its unethical at all. I don't know why cows are believed to be the only sacred animal in our country. What about the other animals. I don't really beleive in such conservative beliefs, being part of the food chain.
