Maybe it's different in other countries, but in the US Kindergarten through 12th grade is "free", meaning "funded by tax dollars". The only thing you have to pay for is lunch, but the poor kids can get it for free. You only pay out of pocket if you want to send your child to a private school. I've grown up with it being free my whole life, that it didn't even cross my mind that in other countries you have to pay for it.

Absolutely! But it shouldn't be government education from pedophiles. It should be private schools via school vouchers. Take your voucher and go to the school of your choice. Parents should be able to shop for a good school.

I think 14 years should be guaranteed free from pre school to high school and for upper education, scholarships or merit based pay stubs can be given to certain people.

education should generally be "free" as in paid by all tax payers, cause the entirety of society depoends on the future generation. no matter if you have children yourself or not.

All Americans are entitlled to a grade school education. Ironically is is the urban schools that do the worst in standardized testing but also usually have the highest per pupil expenditure. No coincidence most of these cities are run by democrats.
