Former Queen of England Was Elizabeth cremated?

This is the former Queen of England II. The tomb of Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip. It is very normal that it is different from ordinary tombs, but the fact that there is such a tomb, that is, there is no sarcophagus, makes me think that the queen was cremated. She was not cremated. Her body was placed in a very expensive lead-lined coffin and buried in a vault in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, along with Prince Philip, her husband.

Nah, most of the Westminster Abbey graves are end on, rather than standard flat bedded graves

As far as I know their coffins but placed standing up because it's a busy place, Westminster Abbey in burial terms

I read online somewhere that still being alive past your death, either being burned or burried alive are some of the most brutal ways to die, because if you try and escape your coffin, you choke on dirt, etc. Hearing that some people are burried because no one realizes that they still have a pulse, I would have thought cremation would be my preferred death, but then of course being burned is one of the other physically painful ways to die, so I don't know which I would prefer.

What matters is the spirit. After the soul leaves the body, it does not come back to the body. if you've been told that your family for you " she dead" and that's the definitive diagnosis, you're really dead. After that, it's best to bury yourself in the ground. being burned is a false wish

The sarcophagus is underneath that slab of stone. The Queen was not cremated.
