The most beautiful places in the world with the most amazing nature and wildlife in them are usually the worst places politically. Agree or Disagree?

The more beautiful a place's landscape, nature, and environment is, the worst they are run politically and the less likely you'll want to actually live there. Iceland may be the one exception; I don't know their government that well.

I disagree. There is no perfect political system in the world. There are those I would not want to be in.
There are many with decent governments with beautiful landscapes. Like the US 😂

I always used to wonder about that. Places like Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba and Haitii are all third world hellholes with bad economies. There are exceptions.

It could be a case of these places not having the resources to demolish the landscape and replace it with a shopping mall. Or alternatively it could be the unforgiving landscape that makes settlement uneconomical.

Also some of the best places ‘politically’ are said to be Sweden, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, etc. which are all beautiful places. Syria, South Sudan, etc. are meant to be some of the worst ‘politically’ and are also beautiful

We'll just have to disagree on what your idea of best places politically are. You couldn't pay me to live in any of those socialist hellholes. Aside from Canada, but not with Trudeau in charge right now. I was going to include Australia and Madagascar as well, but they aren't as bad politically.

I’d be quite happy living in those places myself. But I am quite happy where I am in Scotland with free education, healthcare and prescriptions although it has some faults at the moment too.

Places that don't jeopardize freedom and liberty for fake "safety" and woke "political correctness," and don't jeopardize safety in the name of "combating racism" like they do in California.

If Canada didn't have Trudeau and all their batsh*t insane leftist policies, I'd put Canada up there.

Here in South Korea, things aren't too bad, but there's certainly less freedom here than in the West and CCTV everywhere.

And certain US states have got things right, like Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Idaho, Colorado, and Nevada. Although most of the US, let alone the world, is pretty f*cked. Either too extreme left (socialist/communist) or too extreme right (anarchist/Stalinist).
