If there was a White-owned TV show, or movie with Black actors/actresses in it. Does supporting it counts as supporting Black-owned businesses?

You answered your own question. No.

Supporting a black-owned business means a business that is owned by black people. Why? Because you do understand that workers are expendable, so even these black workers in white-owned companies can be potentially fired from their position, so it makes no sense to make these two things the same.

Don't get me wrong. We live in a capitalistic society, and whether we like it or not, a business will have to be good in terms of its products and/or services to gain support from customers and black businesses are no exception. Nobody is saying "support black business exclusively" because that's just a stupid thing to say, neither are they saying "support black businesses even if they are bad". What people mean by saying that is to be more open to trying products from businesses that are black-owned, and then make your decision whether you can be a potential customer or not, because a lot of people do not even want to try. You might be surprised, maybe you will find something that you like.

By supporting a business, the increase in revenue allows them to expand and hire more workers, improve the service and quality control. That's why helping black-owned businesses will directly help black people, but helping white-owned companies with black workers may not exactly benefit them.

I dont know. But I think the original idea of promotions like this are to remind us to shop local, get money going to local communities.
