How would you feel if your kids were taller than you?

I look forward to the day that my (currently non-existent) kids are taller, smarter, and better looking than me- better than me morally, and just about every other way. I'm not competing with them; I'm setting myself as a role model, and a resource in the future.

I see myself as nothing more than those pieces of the spaceship that fall away as the shuttle takes off, just as they'll be for their children.

I don’t think I would care that much but I know for a fact that my daughter won’t be taller than me and if I have a son chances are he won’t be taller than me since my girlfriend is 5”2 and the men on both of our sides are short
