I'm not saying the map is accurate so I will not respond to nick-pickers that would choose a different map. And, there will be nick-pickers because nick-pickers always find some minor thing so they can disagree to prove how intelligent they are.

I posted a question asking "Who are the Oath Keepers?" and the opinions were so different that I don't believe it is possible for the groups to agree on the facts. Therefore, I am not going to say who is more right because nothing I say would get anyone to change their strongly ingrained beliefs.

One group believes the Oath Keepers are traitors and terrorists that forcibly entered the capital building with the intent to overthrow the government of the USA. Typically, they believe they should be lined up against a wall and shot.

The other group believes they are peaceful citizens that swore to uphold the constitution and if necessary will defend the constitution with their lives. This group believes the Oath Keepers entered the capital building after the capital police removed the barricades and invited them in. That they were well behaved and stayed within the roped areas. And, that the only violence was FBI and other government infiltrates that were never charged for their crimes.

The problem is that D. C. has taken over a lot of what should be state issues and tries to make everything uniform. The truth is California does not want to like like Wyoming, nor vice versa. Heck, Newport Beach in the OC does not want to live like Santa Ana , also in the OC. We need to return to federalism and localism. Let the federal government handle its enumerated duties.

Yes, it would be best. People could be allowed to travel back and forth like they can throughout most of Europe, but having two countries for different laws and lifestyles would make the majority of people happier.

Geographically, you can’t really make that map into two countries. Besides, do we really want to break up the country over differences in federal policy? This divisiveness is being fueled by politicians to manipulate voters. People just need take a step back and realize that control of Congress and the White House changes hands back and forth. You win some elections and you lose some. Life goes on.

It would be better to divide into 52 states because small countries have more freedom because people can vote with the feet and leave small countries. Much harder in large government and no one can leave a one world government.

How do you know states wouldn’t limit immigration from other states? Yes, you’d have more autonomy for your state but it would be the end of us as an economic and military superpower. You’d have a fractured squabbling group of small states without a federal government to hold them together, like the original colonies. Plus, more than half of US states survive on federal largesse, redistributed revenue from wealthier states. Without that socialized help, they would go under. It would be a high price to pay for large swaths of the country.

Already tried that once in 1864 and it didn't work well. At one time California wanted to divide into Northern and Southern California but that didn't happen either. It didn't work then and wouldn't work now either.

@Papabubbles Mailing out ballots not requested is evidence of fraud. Only requiring signatures on mail-in ballots without ID verification is evidence of fraud. No publishing the results of the election the night of or the following morning after the election is evidence of fraud. Counting mail in ballots not received 3 days before the election is evidence of fraud. Claims the voting machines malfunctioned is evidence of fraud. Sending people to nursing homes and other places to collects is evidence of fraud. However, because the fraud results is what you want, you don't want evidence of fraud because you will reject all evidence and claim it is not proof.

Many states send ballots to all registered voters so that they have a chance to look at the issues and candidates and compare with information in a non partisan voter's guide that is also sent to them. Much better than trying to figure it all out in a voting booth. And the signatures on the sealed return envelope are all compared to the signatures of the voters on file. Since the voters do vote in the elections, that is proof that they want the ballots. Exact opposite of "not requested" and "evidence of fraud". And Identification was already required to get registered and a sample of the their signature provided.
Large populations means that many votes cannot be counted by the following morning and often not for several days. Publishing the results the next day when many thousands of votes have not had a chance to be counted would be evidence of fraud.
Requiring that ballots be received days before election day would be proof of fraud!
Accepting votes from voting machines when it is proven that they malfunctioned would be fraud!
Registered voters in nursing homes (many are there because of physical impairments, not mental) would be disenfranchising legitimate voters. And the voter still has to provide their signature, so it is not fraud.
You believing all the legitimate methods of voting are fraud is proof that you really have no idea what you are talking about. Grow up!

@Revvl Eight states conduct ALL elections by mail. In addition, two states ALLOW their counties to choose to conduct elections by mail. In addition, nine states allow certain small elections to be conducted by mail. And four states allow certain small jurisdictions to conduct elections by mail. That map alone shows how unrealistic splitting the US into two countries would be. If this were to happen then would people in California have to get a passport to cross the “second country” to go to New York which is part of the same country as California? There are too many variables. If this were to happen then we would have to split the country in half and that wouldn’t solve any political issues
