Didn't say either is worse, and cancelling is not the worst thing the EXTREME left does. All I'm saying is that whichever side you're on should be your business. Growing up, there was this saying "sticks and stones...". We know now that it's not completely true but it makes it easier to block out dick heads that call you a Nazi when you know you're not. "Cancelling" (which is really just letting companies know what their advertising is supporting, or customers know what their suppliers are saying) is free speech and the free market at work. It's not about speech "I" don't like, it's about speech that nobody wants to be associated with. "Ye" did it to himself. His business partners didn't like what he was saying, and he lost a lot of money because of it.
It's not just the "left", either. Back in 2003, the Dixie Chicks criticised Bush and his wars and the right stopped buying their music. Everyone had the right to do what they did.
More information leads to better decisions, and it's well within people's free speech rights to inform other people that they're directly funding, say, hate speech, misinformation, or anti-Semitism.
You can say what you like, but you don't get to insist that other people ignore it or treat you the same when they know about it.
You're right it's not just the left, it's both sides. Mainly the extremes on both sides, those who lean towards the middle (which is most people) tend to be a lot more sane. I don't think that either side is free of their faults. If people were this passionate about going after those that keep us divided in this country I think we'd all be a lot happier overall. This speech is fabricated and was never delivered by JFK. Supposedly, it was delivered on November 12, 1963 and he was assassinated on November 23, 1963 in retaliation for this speech. In reality, parts of it are taken from his April 27, 1961 address to the American Newspapers Publishers Association, in which he talked about freedom of the press and preservation of national secrets by the media. Other parts of the speech are taken from other occasions when he was addressing the threat posed by the USSR.

A clear example of how little it matters who the president in office is was Bush JR.
