Is The Deep South still as Racist as earlier years?

I always fancied atrip to the USA, but people often say if you go don't go to the Deep South, rather go to California or Florida instead where you'd be welcomed warmly.

They say stay away from places like Michigan and Kentucky.

I'm not American but I would assume these are Southern States, Correct me if I'm wrong. Because I don't live there.

Goodness, no. And if they're telling you to stay away from the Deep South and including Michigan in that list, they clearly don't know America. Even geographically. Actually no. People forget that most African Americans live in the old confederate States and more are moving there for a better life fleeing northern inner cities. Most Hispanics live in boarder and mid western states. Try Atlanta, its probably the best city in America forvany young man.

Primarily no, it is not. There are some "holdout" spots in Georgia and Alabama but social trends have suppressed it. As old people die, it is dying out with them. Racism is taught around puberty. Government schools discourage it.
