u +1 yWe can join the fight against Putin in Europe, or wait until the fight comes to the US.
09 Reply- +1 y
@OlderAndWiser Why don't we let Europe fight their own battles? There are more of them than there are of us. I don't see any of them with big national debts like our $30 Trillion. You are a senior. Does it piss you off to see SS get a 5% cost of living that doesn't even keep up with inflation? It would cost maybe $30 Billion to shore up SS, but no, they spend it on helping everyone else in the world but our own.

@DubiousIntentions
1. I still work full time and do not receive Social Security.
2. If Comrade Putin comes to the US, that could be the end of Social Security. - +1 y
So you are holding out until 70 then? Putin will not come to the US as he knows that would be the end and probably start WWIII. That doesn't happen for awhile yet as Armageddon is the end of the world. But that happens when a bunch of nations try to destroy Israel.
- +1 y
@AngryCarl Our own government is doing that very well themselves. They don't need Russia's help. They just need some more Covid BS and they will have us at each other's throats. You can see already how the killings across the US have kicked up about 20 notches so far. And I think they are just getting started.
- +1 y
@AngryCarl Well, Biden is supposedly getting paychecks from China, so anything can happen.
+1 yGenerally I'm a isolationist, I think all foreign aid should stop, and the US should mind its own business.
If Russia wasn't doing war crimes, I could care less about Ukraine but how they are using rape as weapon of war is what has me supporting any and all help to Ukraine.
I do think giving them money is pointless, should be giving them weapons, rather than money. Weapons that can hit targets inside of Russia.
I also would be fine giving them chemical/Biological weapons and even nukes to use against Russia. Since Russia is doing war crimes against Ukraine, might as well let Ukraine do it back to them. No point in one side being allowed and the other can't.
Lets Escalate this war with no limit.
Then again, I'm okay with the world being destroyed too. I think a world that allows rape as a weapon of war, doesn't deserve to exist. When women and girls are being raped and Russia military command is ordering it.
Sure the US has had incidents but when they find out about it, they prosecute soldiers. Russia lies about it and then continues to do it.
The UN should really be disbanded too, as it is completely useless, with Russia having a permanent seat. Permanent seats should only go to countries that have elections and real freedom, not communist like China or dictators like Russia.
The US could also give Ukrainians who have had family members raped, or raped victims, things like chemical weapons so they can sneak into Moscow and let it off in terrorist attacks.
Bet they'd have thousands of willing volunteers.
12 Reply- +1 y
Don't you think things have escalated a little too much as it is? Our government wants our guns, because of people being killed, while giving everyone else guns so they can kill each other too, and a lot more than the US has ever experienced. Frankly, I'm tired of working to pay taxes so everyone else can get the benefits from it other than our own.
- +1 y
@DubiousIntentions Nope, until the fighting stops, I am okay escalating it. I'm okay giving Ukraine nukes to drop on Moscow or whatever it takes, even killing all 140+ million Russian's, I'm totally okay with that.
Rape is far worse than death.
A world that allows rape as a weapon of war, deserves to be destroyed. Like I said though, if they weren't doing that, I could care less about people dying, as that isn't such a big deal.
3.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. What I would like to know is. Where is the United Nations? Seems like they are the first to speak out and the last, if ever, to act. They want the US citizens to disarm ourselves. But let other countries do whatever they damn well please. They like to stand far behind the US when we act on something.
They should be able to tell Putin to behave or suffer the consequences! Where are they?
As for the US taxpayers, paying for this senseless war. With no accountability of where the money goes. Seems to me like there might be some “Circle Back “ funding going into people’s bank accounts?
Like a lot of other things. Needs to be an audit!
If anyone heard of the show “Full Measure “.
They said that it is suspected that this unaccounted money is going to off shore accounts of Ukrainian officials?22 Reply- +1 y
@Surley And do you remember during the Obama years when they packed millions of dollars, cash money, into ab 18 wheeler truck and sent it to Iraq during the war? No one ever saw that cash again! When asked why they sent cash, their answer was that there wasn't enough time to open bank accounts, so they sent cash!
I don't know where the hell NATO is, but that is a very good question. Too bad we don't know the answer.
5.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It's just a way to transfer U. S. taxpayer's money to private interests.
If the U. S. had really wanted to help Ukrainians, it would have put pressure on that regime to stop slaughtering people in the eastern part of the country over the past 8 years. But in reality, the U. S. doesn't give one fuck about Ukrainians or any other commoners in the world.
If the U. S. was concerned about Ukrainians, it wouldn't have supported the Nazi faction or pressured Zelensky to reject the Minsk accord.20 Reply
+1 yI'm starting to think we should simply buy them out; purchase the entire country and set up some new states, ending the war outright as Putin's not stupid enough to attack the US directly. It'd probably be cheaper.
21 Reply- +1 y
Good idea, ask them if they want to join as a territory first... do a election (like Putin has) and then have the results say they want to join the US as a territory.
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI am from Ukraine and if you would rather watch us get killed than help us then you are one selfish person. You have the money to be giving us. You are the wealthiest country on earth. Don’t be greedy. Nobody needs that much money. You guys are doing fine.
218 Reply- +1 y
@Anonymous Of course I don't want to watch Ukrainian's be killed, but is money the only way to stop that?
I bring up the question because they aren't even accountable for the money America 🇺🇸 sends to them.
The USA just took in over three million migrants, with 3 million more on their way here from several different countries. Now we have to pay for them and everything they need.
In the meantime Inflation is so high in the USA, that some people cannot afford food, gasoline, or their much needed medicines. With that said, some Americans are starving to death, or die because they cannot afford their medicine's keeping them alive. Also our heating bills are going to be unaffordable for many that cannot afford to pay to heat their home. And yes, some will freeze to death.
Why is it so right to send any country 90+ billion dollars when some Americans are homeless and dead. They needed money too, but they turned down American's only to let them die.
I would say USA is the richest country in the world, because our national debt is in the trillions of dollars. That's money our government has spent with the expectation of paying it back. That will never happen! So, see, we aren't rich, we are in trillions of dollars in debt. - +1 y
Why is it the United States the only ones to help everyone else, even though there are few countries with even nearing a $1 Trillion national debt? And why do people cry about guns and people dying in the US when we send Ukraine weapons and money so they can kill other human beings? Our government are hypocrite. $90 Billion is a lot of money. Whose pockets is it going into, including our own leaders pockets?
Opinion Owner+1 y@sage2021 nobody is freezing to death in the states. You have the extra money. Quit being selfish!
- +1 y
I would rather Ukraine defend themselves. Your country deserves no help. Why should the rest of Europe and America defend Ukraine? What the hell has Ukraine ever done for us? Not a goddamn thing.
Pick up a rifle and go to the front if you care about your country so much. Go. - +1 y
I do. You ever wonder why every Congressman retires as multi-millionaires, even though they didn't have a pot to piss in when they first started their political career? Congress is also known for taking lots of breaks/vacations, voting themselves pay raises while cutting everyone else's benefits, and years ago they couldn't even keep their accounts from being overdrawn at the Congressional Bank. I would not be surprised that most of them are crooks.

@Opinion Owner more people will freeze to death this year than in previous years because no matter what you use to heat up your living quarters, the prices have increased so much so that people cannot afford to pay the bill.
Boy, do you live in a cave or something similar?
Giving Ukraine 90 billion dollars is not being selfish. No we don't have EXTRA money here in the USA. Our debt ceiling is in the trillions now - we owe money.
I wish we were selfish then maybe people that have lived and worked in America 🇺🇸 could get some help from our government so we don't starve or freeze to death. But they deny us from the help we need and give it to other countries and migrants.
Isn't it obvious our leaders hate America and Americans? We don't get shit from them.
Why don't you Google if people in America are freezing to death.
You act as if what you say us the truth when it's misinformation!
Opinion Owner+1 y@sage2021 so you mean to tell me that you would rather be warm in your home and watch us get killed left and right? It isn’t even that cold in the USA. Next time if your country ever needs help then don’t ask us! I will show everyone your comment and tell them Americans don’t care about us.

The US doesn't have any extra money laying around, have you looked up its debt load?
Opinion Owner+1 y@Aerissa_Jade you guys are literally the richest in the world and everyone there drives a tesla.

@Opinion Owner Yes, I would rather be safe and sitting in my warm house than to be in Ukraine - that's for sure. But I won't be waisting my electricity watching you on my TV. I've got better things to watch that make me laugh. So, don't worry about me, I am warm and my tummy is full. Family first!
- +1 y
Sure there are. You read about it every year where some poor old lady froze to death because she didn't have the money to heat her home. Or how about the homeless? I'm sure they have a lot of them freezing to death to, it just isn't reported.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIt's total BS, and the only reason Biden is sending them money is a combination of them having dirt on him and to please the Military Industrial Complex who needs another source of money since Afghanistan is no longer profitable. It's funny, Democrats keep calling people on the right Nazi's while actively supporting Nazi's in Ukraine.
10 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It’s mostly a huge wealth transfer program from US citizens to Ukrainian, European, and American elites. For the elites, the grift they had going in Ukraine is worth sacrificing other peoples’ lives for.
