If you take it from companies they just raise prices and cut workers. Now you have inflation and more dependents and a reduced tax base. Pretty much the primary goal of society and the government is the creation of new wealth. In other words, the process of putting in an investment and gaining a larger return.

A good example of this is free education. It is an investment into the future where the person you put all those resources into will enter the workforce and be much more productive and therefore pay for itself. Even you can't deny this obvious fact since it is the foundation of student debt as well.

So yeah. Do not get a job in the financial sector.. ever.. you are not qualified.

The tax is high, to many americans, insanely high, but so are our salaries, and most people use the system in their life, for their free education, or cancer treatment, most people here, GLADLY pay taxes.
