"woke" is really just fake woke hiding the things that are truly woke with a hidden agenda behind which forms endless destructive cycles.
for example BLM likes to highlight police brutality in regards to white cops and black suspects leading to the defunding of police and more black criminals pulling the race card to get away with crime and police have to double down to stop these criminals and leads to more stories of police brutality thus creating a never-ending unwinnable cycle.
another example is the LGBTQ with their need to start teaching sexuality and gender pronouns to toddlers plus pushing for puberty blockers to help their community feel more included due to years of "discrimination" and in turn this makes parents rather uncomfortable so they push back but in doing so they are labelled homophobic or transphobic and therefore justifies the LGBTQ in what they are doing thus creating a never-ending cycle.
illegal immigration is another heavy issue where if you're against it, you're a racist and the more pushback it gets, the more "justifiable" it is deemed to be, even calling out the crimes committed by illegal immigrants is racist thus the common sense people get shut out and the real racists are left speaking because they don't give a shit anyways. another never-ending unwinnable cycle.
speaking of crimes committed by illegal immigrants, just the mere thought of rape is enough to frighten even good women into supporting abortion so hoes can keep riding the carousel without consequence. meanwhile, criminals in jail aren't there because of crimes they've committed but because of racism thus they get released back to the streets to commit more crimes like rape to further justify abortion. nothing quite like being the solution to a problem one originally created.
since there's so much fear-mongering campaigns in regards to rapists, how would a woman be ever safe from this? easy. feminism has the answer. rather than cut it off at its very source aka creating stronger family units so boys don't grow up bad, the solution is to paint all men as rapists and boys as potential rapists and slowly knock off any oppression points e. g. a POC can't be a rapist because it's racist and neither can a woman or an LGBTQ member thus we are left with straight white men. so how do these men disqualify themselves from being a rapist? through due process and facts? nah, just call every unattractive guy a creep just for being ugly and if he fights back against this label, he's an incel which further justifies more vicious attacks on him until he gets pushed off the edge and says "fuck it! I'm gonna be that enemy society wants me to be" and then feminazi media would use this incident to further justify their crusade against men with "see? this is why we need feminism. to protect us from these dangerous men" and the never-ending cycle continues.
the MeToo movement, another area where there is a hard push in either direction. just "believe all women" they say until false accusations begin popping up and people start to not longer "believe all women" which makes real victims of sex crimes a lot harder to believe and then years later, they wanna campaign harder for the MeToo only for some liar to take full advantage of it and the never-ending cycle continues.
so what happens when the oppressive "patriarchy" decides to embrace the victimized LGBTQ? what does feminism do now? men transitioning into women and beating out women in women's only competitions? don't you dare say a thing you TERF.
the problems in to the black community in the US is often blamed on white privilege as told by the liberal news media so they have an excuse to stay as victims never mind the number 1 issue being fatherlessness. no dad in the home means the son can go find his role model elsewhere even if that role model with a criminal who goes around banging hoes and creating single moms. no dad in the home means the daughter can go around riding the carousel and becoming a single mom while the real dad winds up in jail thus perpetuating this destructive cycle. poverty is another big issue but is to be expected when a lot of adults are still as irresponsible as children, spending money not on essentials but on drugs, jewelry, makeup, expensive cars etc. instead of investing into the next generation.
so has being "woke" really hurt anyone? tell that to the families who lost loved ones in a riot or a suicide or they couldn't get to hospital in time because crazy climate change activists want to protest on the streets and block traffic on the road or there weren't enough cops to stop violent criminals or tell transitioners who want to start family that they can no longer do so all because a doctor told them they were a boy when they were actually a girl or vice-versa and they underwent a life-changing process that will never be the same again.

It's just urgh, I think I'm very selective with what I choose to care about which is the problem because there are people who try and act like they're winning the oppressed olympics but everyone's got their own problems but no one cares to listen to the other side, no matter how logical or correct they may be. And so when a minority talk about their problems the majority get distanced from it because it doesn't affect them.
I think the main thing that pisses me off about wokeness is the double standards concerning feminism and how much trans rights have dominated politics in recent years. I think intersectionality is really important because trans women are women yes but they'll never just be women, they're specifically TRANS women which means they have a completely different experience to other women (all different according to race, ethnicity, country, class etc) and they will never understand stuff associated with women such as periods or pregnancy, same as how other women won't be able to understand transitioning, and I can also understand the perspective of TERFs, I don't think I'm transphobic but I can see how women get all up in arms about this - and I think it's a very privileged thing when trans people like to think the world revolves around them and they deserve to get everything, especially when they're young and complaining about the world, they can't even compare to the histories of other marginalized groups (but maybe that's also in part because of selective history where we're not taught about it), but I think trans rights have taken over from what the 'woke' movement originally started as, centred around race and gender - but there are billions suffering around the world who can't even IMAGINE having such relatively small problems as pronouns when they're in war zones or struggling to feed their families
People who are lacking in empathy and social skills hate it because they want freedom of speech to mean freedom FROM social consequences and that's never been what it means. There will always be social consequences for being a genuinely awful person and talking about how you think you are superior to others, so if you can't handle to consequences stfu. Freedom of speech is not a shield you can hide behind to be as cruel as you please.
Some people do take it too far like telling people who use big words that they are being classist and ableist (... even though many autistic people can ONLY express themselves using big words for precision) As well as "fat liberation" which is really just a bunch of addicts making excuses rather than addressing their addictions.
In general, though, it's very needed as hatred and bigotry are still rampant throughout all of human society and oppressed people need to have a voice.
People have tried to cancel me for being fatphobic but the fact is I don't hate anyone for reasons beyond their control such as sexuality or race and I don't even hate fat people I just refuse to pretend it's healthy or attractive like they want me to. It's not the end of the world, they can screech and point their fingers at me, I still value everyone's humanity and I know who I am.

It's a coined term which means nothing. Where everyone has an opinion but can never prove anything.
The academic work on "woke" links it to being around the slave era in middle America. The slaves would not be permitted to mingle too much in case they "plotted" against their master (s). Hence they used various ways and means to keep their slaves divided and second guessing. The slaves who have to be "woke," else fall for their masters machinations.
But modern "wokeism" seems to be any preconceived shit you have of the "other side" but not enough following to make a full blown conspiracy.

I still don't know where the idea of "wokeism" even came from. The whole point of the "joke/broke/woke" meme was thinking outside of the box in a sort of comedic way, right? Social movements often start with legitimacy and there's actual truth to their grievances but then it turns for the worst eventually as extremist or opportunist tend to take things out of context and see every little misfortune or isolated injustices and turn it into a big opportunity to cause social conflicts and disagreements and attacks on others which is what causes "wokeism" to become dangerous.
