We moved to a new house far from the city. it's a 10-story building, but no one lives there but us. Because it is newly made and quite cheap. When we are not at home, the bathroom faucet turns on by itself. We changed the door lock before we moved in. We just bought the faucet in case the faucet is faulty. We couldn't solve the problem. My wife started to smell and believe in ghosts. I told him it had to do with the plumbing. But he doesn't believe me. Now a number of religious things are hanging all over the house. I don't know what to do.

I don't know how you convince them but ghosts aren't real. Plus hypothetically if they magically were real then what would they be doing in a brand newly built building and not one they died in?
