I think she got exactly what she deserved with her lies. Johnny's career got pretty much ruined before the trial and many backed her up until the trial and all her lies came out. She's a liar but I think they were both abusers and toxic which is hard to argue in a court case, if there was a way for both of them to be found guilty I'd go for that, but if both people in a relationship are just equally toxic and horrible then they can't blame anyone but each other and there's no point crying about the other abusing you unless something drastic happened.
But I think there probably have been more people doubting a woman's word now. I think it all comes down to character judgement too, if she seems the type to lie or fabricate a story. But I've also seen people call Angelina Jolie a liar and slag her off which is crazy because I haven't ever seen or heard her do anything wrong.

If they mean the chilling effect is that sociopathic women are gonna be caught and held accountable now, then I would agree. It's a good thing but yeah, I suppose for sociopathic women who don't want to be caught, it would be chilling.

No because that´s equality. Equality doesn´t work by saying women say always the truth. It just shows that you need a valid statement that proves what you claim has happened to you. Something Amber Heard didn´t seem to have.
