The recent verdict in the Johnny Depp / Amber Heard defamation trial was a clear win for male victims of domestic violence and abuse, and anyone interested in gender fairness should celebrate it as such. But if you Google "Johnny Depp Feminism" it will return a long list of articles written by feminists, the vast majority of which show that most feminists view the verdict as nothing more than a setback for feminism and an injustice for women.

Do you think this will change anyone's mind on the nature of modern feminism, or are supporters of modern feminism just too dishonest and biased to see gender issues from anything other than a gynocentric perspective?

It was little to do with feminism or domestic abuse.

It was a defamation trial and a reminder that you should not talk shit about people. Especially when you're getting paid to "dish the dirt" on someone with some money.

The Depp-Heard verdict was a landmark victory for men's rights, and that has a lot of feminists seething in anger and bitterness. They are all over the internet since the verdict was announced. I believe this is a turning point in gender fairness, and a long overdue one... a long overdue reckoning for modern feminism.
