Depends on how you interpret the meaning of the the word “allows” in that sentence. Does he mean gives permission for the termination or does he mean the failure to prevent from happening? The fact that he’s alluding to being declared the winner or holding a new election suggests the former but it’s possible he meant the latter, as his word choices are not always coherent. It’s easy to see why the statement was problematic.

The word has more than one meaning so yes, interpretation is absolutely necessary. You’re also ignoring the fact that holding a new election or declaring a new winner would require terminating the constitution. It does give a string hint to his meaning and many conservatives have also interpreted it that way. It isn’t just the left.

He said the "fraud" allows for it. If there is a massive fraud that people can actually prove, which they can't, then we must examine how elections work. The fact is, on average, fraud amounts to 7 votes, any election within 1k votes is almost always recounted, and you can as for one if the difference is as much as 3k. If the difference is 7 votes then there'd be no question of a recount. The fact is, your individual vote doesn't matter. You can't swing an election by yourself. You'd need thousands of people voting who hadn't previously to swing a vote.

Now he said articles which as anyone who has actually read the Constitution knows, he wants to keep amendments.
