Why do people mainly bigots, get upset when you ask a controversial political question anonymously?

Because you're confronting them, you're challenging their ideas and they don't like being challenged. They think they're always right and that their opinions are universal truths.

Same reason non-bigots do it? They can't block you and avoid seeing your question like they could if you didn't post anon. A person is not necessary bigoted just because they might get "upset" at controversial questions.
