You think Social Media is helping kids more or hurting more?

Seems to be a confidence boost as selfies wouldn’t even be considered when I was in high school. “Don’t look at Me”…my autobiography.

But I think there is communication issues with kids, or teens. In Japan some young men are so badly introverted they can’t function in the world.

I don't know. With the internet and social media is a double edged sword.

There are fantastic content creators that provide very good entertainment, knowledge and share experiences unto others.

Then the opposite it's true, with content creators that provide nothing but trash, bad advice, put others down and distort reality for their viewers.

It's about making sure what you are consuming especially as a youth wheather positively or negativity through social media.

now kids can compare themselves to others outside of their world. not a good thing. we are told that things get better outside of school when that's not the case

Hurting as the inability to form real-life and lasting interpersonal relationships has been lost for those up to 30 year olds. Social Media puts distance between people as it is a dream world where one can hide and pretend. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's one of the worst inventions so far of the 21st century. Kids are comparing themselves to photoshopped models and are being socially stunted. How many kids do you see playing outside these days?
