Is it worth becoming a U. S citizen?

Personally, I dont think so. USA is not the worst place in the world but you can do better. For starters, I would not recommend living in USA itself. The lacking environmental protection and consumer protections means that the air you breath, water you drink and the food you eat will be bad for you in some way. Maybe not catastrophically bad such as the air in China but still much worse than it has to be.

At this point you got to start consider the value of being an American citizen living abroad. Not the worst thing in the world but your passport will be weaker than for example a EU one and you also lack various services a native citizen would have.

As such I propose European countries for their powerful passports, their rights and the great access to services like worldclass education and free healthcare. It is a really good deal. Other great choices are other EU countries or Japan and South Korea.

depends on your life plan really... but I do have a feeling life is VERY different here than it is there, at Germany

I've thought to lead a normal life with culture expansion and at the same time so that I could travel back to germany so I can visit my family once in a while.

It feels like as if you're up on your own and be responsible about almost everything lol. (It's how people commented)

You can live in America for the rest of your life and never become a citizen. The only advantage to citizenship is that you can vote in federal elections. (Legally)

Because I have been misinformed. They'd tell me america is a great/beautiful country to live but with all the disadvantage, I might re-consider

Legal immigration is very difficult. If you have lots of money or a business in Germany, you might be able to get a tourist visa.

If not, you might be able to get a work visa.

But if not, you can go online and find a woman who will sponsor you for a fiance visa. I don't recommend that, but it's an option.

The people I know who've became American citizens say it is. They're also infuriated by those who take the shortcut and do it illegally.
