Two strangers showed up at my apartment unit and wouldn’t leave even after I told them they have wrong unit. Do I have the right to be scared?

At 11 pm this evening a couple that looked like 50-60 showed up and knocked on my door, I didn’t answer but through the cracks I said “you have the wrong unit.” they still didn’t leave so I called the front desk and they pulled the tapes from that time claiming no one got on or off elevators at that time. She said they were already on the floor before then. I’m uncomfortable. It could have been the wrong apt and the couple meant well but this never happens where I live. I live in a high rise apartment with front desk 24-hour security so this is weird.
