Yes and why not? Working sucks. End of story. The older generations are brainwashed into the rat race and that there is some sort of pride or meaning in working. There’s not. You’re wasting your life doing some boring shit 9 hours a day that is more often than not completely meaningless and if it’s not completely meaningless the job you do could still be done by millions of other people anyway. You personally don’t matter in the workplace and employers don’t give a shit about you other than you making a profit for them. If you’re not they’re not afraid to fire you. And you’re there eorking to make them rich. You’re working day after day, week after week, year after year until you die or retire and by the time retirement comes, if you’re still lucky enough to be alive by then, many will just be too sick, tired or broke to do anything at all (or their partner will be so they end up either having to do everything alone or not do anything at all either). And you take pride in this shit. Hell no. Only reason for working is to make money so you don’t have to live on the streets and eat scraps from garbage bins. If I had the money to not have to work you better believe I wouldn’t work another second ever again.
So you're lazy, useless to society, and want free money just for existing? Got it.
Also, no one said you had to work and hate your job. Plenty of people choose to do work that they love and that's rewarding, even if they don't pay as high as others. Which only confirms your uselessness to society. You think work as nothing more than "earning a paycheck" and not contributing useful skills to society, and improving your own life in your actions towards the world around you.
Just stay at home with mom and dad until they die of old age, or open an OF account, if you literally admit you contribute nothing of value to society.
Kids are lazy, they would rather get a hand out, sit on their butts all day and watch Netflix. Where I work, we never get young people applying for jobs, they are just not interested.
They most definitely do. Remember 2021 when places were re-opening in the West and employers couldn't find enough workers?
Remember Reddit's "antiwork" subreddit and how the mod went on FOX News and was revealed to be an obese, 30 year old, transgendered loser (like most Reddit mods) who thought working 25 hours as a dog walker was "too much work?"
https://www.youtube.com/embed/4IfzpgGwHkINotice how many young women don't have a problem with OnlyFans and thinks being a shameless piece of sh*t e-whore is respectable work and how "only incels" would not want to have anything to do with an OF cum dumpster who's extremely lazy and doesn't respect herself?
How we have all those TikTok videos of vapid early 20-somethings showing off their tech jobs and how they make $200K a year to eat free vegan brunch and sing karaoke at work?
https://www.youtube.com/embed/SIrkBu1H9rkhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/6c2oCNn5KygHow even today, employers can't find quality workers cause every other young person thinks they should instantly be a manager making $90K a year?
I don't hate Zoomers as much as Millennials, but Zoomers are some LAZY sacks of crap for sure! There's too much evidence to deny this.
I don’t think it. I know it. This isn’t news. Most people going back generations haven’t liked having to work for a living. We did it because we understood responsibility as it was sold to us. I’m not entirely convinced younger people have more, less or a similar sense responsibility. It is clear however that they have options previous generations didn’t, because they have information that previous generations either didn’t have or refused to assimilate.
I’m not afraid of what lies ahead. If you are, you’re failing yourself, your family and your friends.

No. Most of what you see on TV is scripted to boot.
As for "current generation" - they see little value behind them or in front of them. Their parents and grandparents have left the country in debt and in social and economic crisis. Most of their assets will need to be sold to pay for their retirement or care, leaving the kids to pickup the slack.
The kids themselves are studying for jobs that might not even exist by the time they graduate. Yet they've still got bills and debts to magically pay. All when employers want to pay the bare minimum to keep them alive until then.
Same as it ever was. Every generation is branded as lazy by their parents or grandparents generation. But people are the same as ever. Some are lazy and will do the minimum necessary for the short term, and others are more ambitious with long-term goals.
I don't know anyone who DOESN'T dislike working. People work because they NEED to, not because they want to. I think any sensible person if given the option to live their dream life without having to work, would
No. But we as a species continue through technology and advancement, to get fatter and lazier. Each successive generation WILL appear to be lazier than the last. I know some VERY hard working young people. They still exist.
Some expect government to pay them to do nothing. Shouldn't work like that.
working sucks
