to clarify I don't leave a tip unless the waiter, waitress, barber has gone above and beyond the normal level of service. simply doing your job is not reason enough to be given a tip.

I always tip service staff. I’ve been a server and I know how they rely on those tips. You also don’t know how vindictive that person is. I personally know some who messed with the customers food because they repeatedly were poor tippers.
