Philosophically speaking, do you think our world is real or fake?

Sounds like someone needs to read more Descartes. What IS reality, ultimately? If you're capable of being aware enough to acknowledge your own existence, then you DO exist, to some degree. If that form is only is an electronic projection of some kind, you'd likely say it was lesser- but why? Why would an electronic life form mean less than a physical one?

This is one of the questions raised by Tron 2.0 that got ignored in Tron: Legacy, which is a shame (much like a lot of that movie, actually). If the fundamental truth of the universe is existence, then why, exactly, does it matter what form that existence takes?

It's either real or so irrelevant it's the same as real. Not like you get to unlock gta mode and respond you are just a mass shooter as far as this matrix is concerned.

Even realistically humanity is looking at things in space at the speed of light. the mathematic speed limit of the universe. So even the most theoretical quantum simulation needed to simulate our world couldn't simulate binary light at the speed of light in the universe we are now.

Real, as in "not in the Matrix" (there's too many mistakes, issues, and irregularities for this to be a computer simulation.)

But "fake" as in, few people are authentic or genuine.
