Have you ever been to jail?

One could simply go to jail for speeding and not showing up for court, it is pretty easy to end up a criminal and in jail if you don't do exactly what your told to do. It is also easy for them to NOT tell you what your suppose to do, so you don't do it.
I've been in jail, one time was for something that I was never charged with, they suspected it was me, but in the end it wasn't, but I still spent the night in the county jail... sleeping on a slab of cement and my back hurt when I got let go.
I also spent 3 days in jail for beating my cheating ex up, and his two friends. Ironically I had no plans to actually hurt them. I was just going to mess up his car that he loved more than me, and the idiot got in the way of a swinging piece of metal and his friends tried to stop me too, they all just should of stood back and watched it happened... then it only would of been vandalism.
Ironically a short girl like me, managed to take down 3 guys, guess they are all wimps or something.
Instead the fools made it worse, but it was all a plea in abeyance so once I finished my sentence, it didn't go on my record and I've been clear since.
Don't cheat on someone then expect nothing to happen.
You literally committed multiple crimes and still manage to blame it on your victims? Privileged much?
You’re not wrong about crimes and criminals though. Anyone anywhere can go to jail for anything at any time.
You admitted to yours though, and you should really present contrition.
You don't think someone who got cheated on and potentially got life long STI's is a victim?
I disagree as that makes me the victim... or anyone who gets cheated on.
I feel zero guilt, I am not the one who cheated, I am not the one who got in the way of a angry person with a metal bar going to vandalize a car. I mean how stupid do you have to be to do that?
What were they thinking? I'll take a guess, I'm a dumb ass, I'm going to put my body in the way of a swinging bar and see what happens... oh what if she had a gun, maybe my body would protect my car too.
The dumb fucks, they were not my targets... which is why I wasn't really charged with it, no pre-mediation no nothing because they admitted they got in the way.
Had they simply stood back, it would of been ONE crime and they instead made it more.
Don't get in the way of someone committing a crime, watch it happen, record it, call the police and let them handle it. Especially something so minor as messing up his nice car. NO big deal on that at all, no one is getting hurt.
Then they would of charged me with vandalism, ordered me to pay restitution (which I wouldn't have and never have to this day) and they would not of got hurt.
I am the victim by being cheated on, they are not victims... they are stupid dumb fucks who deserved everything they got. I merely had to pacify them to get to my target, stupid fuckers.
They are NOT victims, anyone who says so is also a dumb fuck, are you a dumb fuck?
Your emotions don’t change the fact that you broke laws and hurt and/or endangered others. You certainly wouldn’t be so cavalier if someone assaulted you. These choices are almost never calculated and resolved. That’s why it’s no excuse in the eyes of the law. You’re a damn fool and unfortunately lucky to be a woman. Any man who did what you’ve done would be in prison; no ‘ifs’, no ‘ands’ and no ‘buts’. You really should be ashamed.
Laws don't mean shit, when someone is putting you at such risk of giving you a lifetime STI.
Had they arrested him and charged him for it, I would not have done any of it. Had they made him pay for my missed work and doctors visits, but nope... the system is too fucked up, when it allows victims like that and does nothing.
But I would not have been so stupid as to get in the way of a swinging metal bar either, so no one would assault me in this situation had it been reversed. I would of stood back and recorded it, rather than jump in front of a moving car type situation.
I don't think cheating itself should be illegal but giving some an STI or potentially doing so, when in a committed relationship should be a felony.
Otherwise, are they going to pay that persons medical bills and medication for the rest of their life for a incurable disease? Are they going to be forced to do all that, and or pay for any missed work for doctors appointments? Pay restitution now because they can't have a relationship without risk of giving it to someone else?
A jury often has victims of cheaters on it so they can relate and find someone NOT guilty simply because they think the cheater deserves it.
But hey it is your question, you asked... I answer, I am not remorseful, I never will be, gender had nothing to do with it, the court KNEW my intentions was NOT to attack them. I plead guilty to vandalism, but not guilty to them getting in the way. I made it very clear, I had zero intention of hitting them and they admitted they got in the way, very openly. That they jumped in the way and tried to stop me by attacking me.
They knew it would be a hard win, cheater victim, hence why they offered the deal, as I am no threat to society, only to his car.
Since your a cheater, this conversation is done... any additional response you type, I will remove.
Revenge is never the answer. Sure it does feel good, but emotions should not dictate our course of actions.
Especially when those actions may cause other people to endanger themselves. You did not intend for the physical damage caused to them, but it does not change the fact that you still did it. The only understandable scenario is if you did it in self-defense, or if they got in the way and you stopped hitting them.
Either way, the best response to someone victimizing you like that is to leave and walk away. Revenge is never a good idea, because revenge entails rash or even calculated actions based off of negative emotions that do not allow clarity of mind.
But who am I to judge? Everyone of us has made bad decisions affected by negative emotions before. Its understandable.
@xJeremyx Given my history of not having justice, I'm never going to let the system work for me. Attempted murder and raped and the guy only got 5 years, I will ALWAYS take justice into my own hands, I have zero faith in the system.
I did what you said and the system failed, so revenge is the answer when the system fails... the key is to not get caught. I really should of not done it when he was around, instead did it when he wasn't and then they would not of been there.
I almost used my truck to just ram his car at high speed, wonder if the assholes would of used their bodies to try and stop my truck? Decided I didn't want to risk hurting the metal bars on the front of my truck.
It did kind of turn into self defense though as they started trying to attack me, but also due to my history I've taken self defense classes, to subjugate them. I stopped fighting them soon as they stopped fighting me.
I also know due to my attempted murder and rape, I'm mentally messed up, we can blame society for that for what happened to me and then giving him a lenient sentence.
When the law fails, do it yourself... I only have a couple of years left anyways before I die, thanks to my attacker and the long term damage he did to me. I will eventually die and he will have killed me, and he still only got 5 years for rape and murder in the end.
The entire reason I came to GAG, to tell my story before I die and then I stuck around.
I am NOT defined by my Scars "A Survivors Account" ↗
To each their own, I guess.
For me personally I do not trust the system but I always refrain from violence, precisely becauseI do not trust the system. It will get me in trouble. Plus, I have my own strict moral code I like to adhere to, where I refrain from damaging anyone and anything as much as possible.
But I'm not gonna tell you what you should or should not do, given that although I can express empathy, I do not and will never understand how you feel and what you have been through. Anyway, have a good day.
I have never been to prison or jail. Why not? Because I am not a criminal or a degenerate person.
Of course you are. You have no idea what you are guilty of if you live in the US and actually believe that.
I don’t live in the US.
Lucky you! Where do you live, and if i might axe?
Canada
Canada is not terribly different. You are almost certainly guilty of crimes you can’t or won’t admit, and absolutely guilty of crimes of which you aren’t even aware. Ell oh ell! No offense, but you simply aren’t aware of the world in which you live.
So please help me become aware. What are typical crimes that everyday people like me commit but generally get away with? I am fortunate enough to be a white woman, so cops don’t harass me over stupid things.
I have never knowingly or purposefully committed a crime for which I could be charged. I don’t even do petty things like littering or jumping the subway turnstiles.
Depends on the jurisdictions in which you reside and function, obviously, but i’ll throw out some common examples. Jaywalking, public intoxication, carrying a controlled substance, intent to use a controlled substance, intent to distribute a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance, use of a controlled substance, sodomy, lying to a police officer, falsely reporting a crime, speeding, failure to stop, failure to yield the right of way, exceeding the basic speed law, failure to signal a turn, falsely signaling a turn, brake checking, intimate partner violence, rape, sexual battery, sexual assault, sexual coercion, accosting, indecent exposure, public lewdness, public nudity, common indecency, et cetera.
There are tens of thousands of laws that any government organization can use against you at any time for any reason or no reason at all. You have unlikely gone a single day of your life without breaking some law or a dozen.
I had plastic knuckles that were made from the material of a motorcycle helmet. It was not metal so I could walk past metal detectors.
I got jumped a few times back in the days by Spanish immigrant gang members and black thugs. They chased me down with bats, and I had PTSD and became racist after it.
I would carry it around out of fear of being attacked. I was mostly paranoid. The police found it in my pocket and took me in for questioning. They were seeing if I was a suspect in attacks. I didn't match the suspect because I had no tattoos or scars that matched the description.
They dismissed the case and let me go.
My kids don't go to public school as I did. I saved up a fortune to pay for private school. I am still a little racist even though I know most black and Spanish people are ordinary people. I still get nervous around them and don't let my kids hang around Spanish or blacks. It's just my PTSD. I never hated them from the start.
I just turned out this way because of a few bad experiences. You can say or think what you want about me.
It’s actually perfectly reasonable to reasonable people.
So you were just detained, or did you actually do punitive time?
Just arrested and brought to the precinct. I just told them I have anxiety and depression. And they just told me coming here will give you more stress and not to carry stuff like that anymore.
They had me at the precinct the whole night and then let me go.
Not yet less one overnight awaiting a blood test and by the time that got processed to occur, they had me blow and down to.04 so, it was a waste of Time.

No, never. Been searched or questioned a couple of times, but that's all.
So…. what’d you get away with? Mind your statutes on limitations! Ell oh ell!
I've been to jail a few times thanks to lies by my ex and simp cops who believed her at first.
I have not been in as a prisoner.
Care to disclose what you’ve gotten away with?
Karma is funny that way. I got away with all that trivial shit as a kid. I’ve been jailed for almost every major infraction of my adult life.
Maybe, but it’s not unique. I’ve spent time in jail with some very normal people for very normal stuff. Most people don’t realize how easy it is for our governments to marginalize each of us in an instant with a single charge, devoid of conviction. Once convicted, you are unlikely to achieve little more than slave privileges.
Oh, don’t get me wrong! I earned my street cred! Ell oh ell! I’m a menace to society in ways i haven’t even been recognized for yet! Ell oh ell! But not everyone has. I just want people to know where they stand.
nope, I have always beat the rap.
Gifted!
Yes for hitting a teacher
I hit a gym teacher once, but it never left the skool system.
well because I was 18
That’s no excuse. The teacher is still the authoritative figure. This is like jailing a child for being raped by a teacher.
