Mohammad Iqbal Khan and Rahil Azam are both 41, starring in Indian Soap operas. While Rahil looks stunning as ever, total daddy type, Mohammad looks much older and... Let's say unattractive. So I feel it's definitely a myth that ALL men age better.

I don't think one necessarily ages better, but the features that men find attractive in women are associated with youth, while the features women are attracted to in a guy are not tied to youth, but rather masculinity (strength, confidence, etc.).

Having a strong jaw, masculine features, etc. are attractive to most women, and are not directly affected by age. A guy can have gray hair, and still be viewed as highly masculine, which is attractive to women.

However, as women age lines appear on their skin, their body becomes less graceful and bouncy, and the features associated with a young woman fade, which in turn affects men's attraction to them. This doesn't mean they're not still good looking humans into their 40's and 50's, but men's attraction are based on youth likely due to that being the time they can conceive children. Biologically it doesn't make sense to be attracted to older women the same way it doesn't make sense to be attracted to children.

Then what's wrong with what I said? I clearly stated older women can be beautiful people, but men will be most attracted to younger women, based on their youth, which is an indicator of fertility.

Splitting hairs and the need to be right will continue to make you women miserable, because nobody can teach you a damn thing unless it's something you like to hear...

I know and I still see plenty of people my age and around my age, people I grew up with as well...

some of them look older and tired... some of them look like they're younger and more energetic

habits have made a great difference... there is also genetics, but it is mostly the smokers, the drinkers, stress and the ones who are more physically active or not what makes a lot of marked differences on how you age

and the same goes for both, men or women...

No, most guys age horribly. It's almost after 30, the flower beauty begins to wither away. Honestly, very few people age gracefully and even fewer still look as beautiful in their old age than their 20s, if not better. Rahil Azam would be one of the few blessed in this way.

I don't think attractiveness is related to how well someone ages. Someone might be really attractive when they're younger but age terribly.

I thought I heard that men generally age better than women because they have more collagen in their skin? Still some men age really bad and some women age really well. I think it's mostly just a genetic thing.

I agree with you. It is not all men. Some men age terribly. Others don't take care of themselves. Some age terribly and don't take care of themselves thereby exacerbating the problem. Some should stay home. Yeah.

Doesn't make sense that all men age well. But it can be typically true and probably depends on genetics, race, life style, exercise and diet, health, age, and location.

I think it purely depends on both genes and how you take care of yourself.
I've seen both men and women who aged gracefully and ones who didn't.

I have heard this too, I’m sure there r exceptions but I’ve also heard it said that men age like a fine wine and women age like milk. Like I said plenty of exceptions in both cases
