People say men get more handsome and attractive as they age, what could be the reasons?

Men become more desirable as they get older, but not necessarily more handsome. That's because the things that women find attractive in men tend to increase well beyond age 30. Their careers are more advanced, they are more stable, more mature, more confident, etc., all of which women find very attractive.

But the things that men find most attractive in women tend to decrease with age.

Well yes that is true because the way the hormones functions the changes that takes place in a man's body is much different as compared to a woman's body.

Maybe they start feeling better about themselves as their age, they take care of their health and their looks. They get more mature and they also get more confident. All of this is attractive.

Women do too, it just comes down to genetics. Just like all women don’t age gracefully, there’s men that don’t age well also.
