Pride And Prejudice.
Mr Bingley sort of has a narrow perspective on an accomplished woman.
Mr Darcy on the other hand, seem to have quite a broad perspective on matter the same.
So? What is yours?

I think I've learned in life that success is relative.
To some women, bearing LIFE and having a lot of offspring is considered VERY successful biologically/genetically and I wouldn't blame her?
To other women, it's climbing the corporate ladder and or finally earning the title of CEO/CFO or whatever, or landing her dream job at a Fortune 500 Company. Very Masculine and reminds of me Mary Tyler Moore (her show, not the actress) lol.
I think though, that more women fall under the first category? But then since life can get soo expensive, maybe there are actually more women in the second category than I realized.
Then also there are others who WANT to be Social Media/Internet famous. Since they couldn't do it the traditonal way (going to Hollywood and trying things scary there), they will do it THEIR way. It's like being your own boss. .. I like it! But yeah, it can get very hard and competitive. With anything in life really.
There's so many women and different ways they acquire their purpose in life. It's hard to tell.
Other women are also happy with being nuns and entering the Seminary.
It's a RAINBOW of women in a rainbow world.
I agree on that. For me, an accomplished woman is the one who is happy in she is doing. I would not place my expectations and standards on her. She is a unique person, not someone manufactured to my liking lol.
You know, she is really skilled at what she does and is happy in it at the same time.
Someone like this woman, I think a lot of women ignore one over the other (career or family) but I don't blame them since it is difficult. Just a woman who does what she does exceptionally well
I am not able to read it because of free articles. And I agree with you head on.
The dictionary definition says "highly skilled" so that could fit. But I think that's way too narrow.
I prefer broad. That accomplished means really excellent at what she does. It doesn't mean (necessarily) a profession or a career. There are wives and mothers who are brilliantly accomplished. Volunteers. Non-professional athletes.
What do I want? I want her to try really hard at what she does. Achieve to the best of her ability. I'll be her cheerleader along the way.
I said the same thing in a reply to one opinion before you lol!
@TenderFantasy is the user's name. More or less the same.
to me... it goes the same for everyone, men and women alike...
accomplished are those who are still genuinely and truly with their lives, after... they have achieved their own versions of success
unfortunately... there are so many people who do achieve their goals and even surpass them and yet, they do not still fulfilled nor truly happy with it
People become greedy for success and are not satisfied till the end it seems.

@snowedin has it right. I want a woman who tres to do the best job possible for whatever it is that she attempts.
A woman who works for what she wants, who follows her intuition, who is not worried about society's expectations, who takes care of herself and and who is not wanting for a man to "save" her.
Would her ignorance of societal expectations make her an ignorant woman with society's perspective?
No, I think it would only mean that she agreed with society's expectations.
For ME, the qualities I'd want in an ideal partner are:
1. Strictly heterosexual and strictly monogamous
2. Politically moderate; not too liberal or conservative
3. Loyal/faithful
4. Respectful/classy/ladylike
5. Kind/positive
6. Intelligent
7. Strong sense of humor
8. Strong work ethic
9. Accepting/nonjudgmental
10. Open-minded
Well for myself I wish to be respected person of good character. Resourceful, understanding, patient, kind, open minded. I believe I’ve already surpassed my my parents by finishing college. I hope that a will be a great mother/ wife one day. I wish to volunteer more. My accomplishment is to be remembered well and leave something behind like my mother did for me so that my children can build on.
Someone who is happy and can take care of themselves
When she is able to provide for the community in the best way she can especially if it's some she enjoys.
