Are LGBT people only considered a minority if they are politically left leaning?

I am mainly asking because a few days ago I answered a question about bigots trying to defend their bigotry or something like that, and I used the bigots who were gloating when a lesbian artist lost her job as an example. And I ended up being told to go to hell, despite I was not being rude in my answer and just provided an example.

That lesbian is Terese Nielsen. Stopped getting jobs from WoTC for liking some tweets and following someone on twitter.

Another example would be Sophia Narwitz, a transwoman and gaming journalist who seems to have a lot of haters of the type who usually treats LGBT people as protected minority.

So, are LGBT people a minority? Are they somehow only a minority if they are left leaning, despite left leaning people seems to claim right leaning people are bigots?

A minority is a minority if said group is being only a few percent of the population.

Sometimes based on the full population, sometimes based on a smaller group.

If you speak fluently german you are a minority in many countries, but if you living in germany you are no longer a minority based on that criterium.

In terms for LGBTQ people i would asume they are always a minority (even when the percentages varry between groups) unless you only look at visitors of eg a pride parade.

You understand, them bitching about them being a minority is just a cover to protect their political ideology. It is manipulative, emotional blackmail.

I am bisexual and I do not stand for this woke nonsense. I am a classical liberal but find more in common with conservatives these days because the left has lost it.

People who lean right tend to not hover over the victimhood mentality the way the far left does. I lived with two lesbians in California for a year. Neither one of them ever whined about their status as a “minority” in any fashion, despite both of them having very complex emotional coming out stories. Most of their friends that i met were the same way.
I believe that people who embrace their true power don’t wield identity politics as a weapon because they don’t need to. Their power comes from within themselves. People who feel powerless personally are quite comfortable accepting power in the form of sociopolitical hierarchy. That’s not limited to the left by any stretch of the imagination. They’re just doing so more prominently now because many previously subjugated groups have banded together to reap the rewards of solidarity, and the hangers-on are riding their coattails to political majority. Power is addictive. Those who have it rarely choose to relinquish it without a fight.

Unfortunately that fact is slowing weathering. I see this Rebonkulous blasphemy all over my school and it’s absolutely sickening. Some guy in my Drawing class was drawing two demons and a pentagram, the audacity. I can’t believe that isn’t classified as inappropriate, this stuff must be taken far more seriously. Then there’s this girl with pentagrams all over her backpack, they really are everywhere. It makes me want to barf out one of my kidneys and then gag on the other one for 2 minutes
