People where I live are chivalrous to everyone I think. But I have no friends no one wants to be my friend. I think that I am average looking but I’m so shy and that ruins things.

This is just something that I noticed especially with all these korean pop artists that people obsess over and other celebrities all around the world as well like people will obsess over every little thing that they do and it makes me wonder if they would still care if he/she wasn’t pretty or attractive.

a lot of shy people get mistaken for rude or stuckup eventhough they aren't.

Sometimes the lack of talking to others in public or just the interactions can be misread as rude or thinking they are too good for everyone else.

I have a friend who is so nice. But very shy and has an intimidating presence.

I been asked so many times "did I do something to your friend? I don't think he likes me"

But he is just shy and don't like initiating conversations, or they are short because he is afraid he will say something wrong.

Eh, sort of. There's pretty privilege, which does exist for sure. But the premise of your question isn't quite true either. People don't only care about you if you're hot. Some of the most popular and loved people I know are alright looking but have the best personalities.
