When will so-called "victims" of bigotry finally accept that people are under no obligation to love them?

Well Part of the definition of the word is ‘ prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.’
And in my opinion that’s entirely wrong. Not because anyone is asking or saying that the bigot is obligated to love the people you’re calling ‘victims’. That would be ridiculous. Maybe instead whoever the hypothetical bigot is in the scenario would just be better off if instead of unreasonably and unnecessarily hating that group of people for no reason at all, he simply chose to just let them exist without the hatred directed at them for things that didn’t affect his life in any way at all. It’s really just an idea that I came up with. If it seems ridiculous to you, we can take a look at it and workshop it a bit to make you more comfortable with it…. well not you…. because obviously you’re not the bigoted one in this scenario.


But if you ever do find that person, maybe you could just ask them if they might be better off just not trying to ‘love’ those ‘victims’ and instead just ignoring them and going about his day instead of asking ignorant questions on social media to try and get support for his idiocy. Nobody is under the delusion they should be loved but they should be able to expect not to face discrimination or hatred. If you don't like them fair enough but I suspect you go out of your way to make it clear.

I disagree. Blacks and LGBTs are under this delusion. Especially Blacks.

The discrimination is reasonable, but the hatred is too much. That's exactly what I'm saying. No one is under any obligation to like you.

I'll give you an example, some Black exchange student complained to her Portuguese teacher about using the N Word is class, and it only made it worse for her, because she shamed her in front of the entire class telling her, she's not gonna dictate how to talk to HER class in HER class.
They have this notion that everyone should kiss their asses and do things by THEIR book, and when someone doesn't, they hate on them.
