Is it sexists and hypocritical for a gym to have an "Women Only" section?

Is it sexists and hypocritical for a gym to have an Women Only section?

before we start I would like to point out that I myself have nothing against this. the gym I used to go to has a women only section and I actually thought this is a good idea. I mean if I own a gym I would like people of all genders, shape, size, color and age to come not just to workout at my gym but to feel confident and secure as well and if this is what it takes for my female members to feel secure then again I wouldn't mind having an women only section for them. I'm well aware that there are a lot of meatheads who think gyms are like bars and clubs and get the idea that they can hit on the female members any time they want not realizing that this can sure as hell make them feel uncomfortable.

so now getting to the point the reason why I ask this question is because lately I been hearing a lot of feminists and leftists claiming that men who hit the gym, lift weights to better themselves and their health are contributing to TOXIC MASCULINITY. I mean I dont understand how working out and trying to improve your physique contributes to toxic masculinity when women can workout themselves too. just because men do it more does not mean fitness is exclusively ours and of course not every guy who lifts weights is a jerkoff.
