    no, not at all.
There is nothing says that you have to have kids.
I know quite a few couples that for whatever reason decided not to have kids.
I'm not sure why society puts so much pressure on having kids.
Maybe because they secretly miss the freedom they had before kids, not to mention the expense.
    Having/raising kids is not cheap.
So, for those that want to have kids have at it.
For those that do not wish to have kids don't be pressured into having kids.
Next time someone gives you grief about not having kids just ask them point blank why you should.

In most cases yea, it's selfish and childless women are dooming the society, like in japan.

Of course not. Only people who believe that all women should be mothers think that.

You're not supposed to have kids just because you're a woman. No one expects a man to be a father just because he's a man. So why should it be different for women?

Seriously, don't ever feel bad for not having or for not wanting to have kids. Just live your life, make your own decisions. Don't live for society, live for yourself.

Immoral? No I don't think so. Just that your genetic line will probably stop at you. Especially if you didn't have any real siblings growing up who'd gotten married and also had children of their own. And even still, it's definitely not the same as your own. You're only 25% share in you and your sibling's genes, nevermind cousins!

As the cost of living is higher, people do not want to have children, but as there is an aging population and a low birth rate, then it is the woman's obligation to do so.

Huh? Where is this obligation? As far as I know, women are free beings to live the way they want.

I would say I agree with both of you. It's weird. It's immoral in the sense that the entirety of future of humanity depends on the actions of the people living now but it would also be immoral to force women to have children. I don't know.

There is nothing immoral about it. Some people want kids, some don't. It's a choice, not a moral failing. It makes total sense not to want kids.

You can want or not want - it's not really the question.

There are millions of women who want to be a mother, but can't. There are millions who are mothers, but don't want to be.

No, it's a free choice that has nothing to do with morality.

No. Immoral means evil or inappropriate.

Being forced to be a mom or dad when you have zero desire to be one is what causes a lot of children to suffer needlessly in this world.
