Is it normal to not want children?

I am 29 now and did not have a happy childhood and my parents also weren’t happily married. Is it normal to want to be child free because of this?

So, instead, she saddled me with 11 animals and constant arguing about how to care for them.

I have 2 cats, 8 dogs, and 1 horse.
My wife does not like the cats... but she is the one who got them.
I like them a great deal.

She wanted barn cats so she adopted two kittens and left them outside.
The first one was killed likely by an own or a stray feral cat / bobcat.
I was working 1200 miles away and said, "You better bring that other one inside or it will be dead within a week."
It was dead within the week because she does not ever fucking listen to me and has to be a retard repeating grades in The School of Hard Knocks. Sadly, I never met either cat.

The next cat came from my daughter-in-law who is a vet tech.
That cat is sweet and she converted me to a cat person.
The next cat was a stray injured kitten my wife found in our field.
When I got home two days later, we took him to the vet and ended up adopting him.
However, she is not a cat person. She likes her dogs - and I do too.

What ur husband want? If he want children, u could go to therapist as it has connection with ur past life and u have a trauma. So better u have a talk w ur husband..
